This is the Best Bakery place for the pistachio cake its the best item they have and they get 4/5 everything else they sell is not that great and their pastries are actually not that good.

We visited the Davie St. location and enjoyed good coffee and a light breakfast. The staff was very nice and knowledgable about the different coffee options. We went too early for dessert but they had some great choices.

Couldn't Get a Better Breka

Breka is close to many big hotels and therefore provides an ideal place for breakfast. The pastries are to die for with excellent croissants. The whole range of pastries, breakfast parfaits,coffees, etc are all delightful and at a fraction of the cost you would pay in any of the nearby hotels.

We used this cafe for breakfasts because it was close to our hotel. We also noted that it was an extremely popular with locals, and did a roaring trade.

Really good coffee, and a nice source of European baked items. But I have to say what I like most about the place is the owners' business sense. What a GREAT idea to have a 24/7 bakery shop open! Have a craving for black forest cake at 3:30am? That's your place to go.

This place was down the street from our hotel and I think we visited 3-4 times in our 2 day stay. We tried a variety of items - donuts, quiche, sandwiches, pastries, and all were delicious! I wish we could bring them home with us, though maybe that wouldn't be so good for our waistlines ;)

24 Hours of Yummy

Breka on Fraser St is open 24 hours so there is no excuse to be hungry. The shop was originally a German Konditerei so they know how to make a decent pastry.
The soups, sandwiches, brownies, sausage rolls and chili are also very good.
It can quickly become very crowded so don't be afraid to share a table.

This review is for their Robson and Bute location. You'll never eat an awful Tim Horton's donut again after trying Breka's fresh donuts. Huge selection of baked goods and sandwiches. Lots of seating . Highly recommended place to relax on Robson 24/7. A favourite police hangout.
