I had the lobster tail with buffalo shrimp, scampi with rice and salad. My favorite was the buffalo shrimp, medium sized but full of good cajun flavor. Scampi was like Danish lobster tails that Red... plus
We have been in town for Canada Games this week and have enjoyed many of the restaurants in Sherbrooke. This one was conveniently located half a block from our hotel. We had walked by it a few times and it looked interesting. I did some research on it and the menu looked interesting so I thought that we would give... plus
I have lived in Sherbrooke all my life so I know something about restaurants... Ambiance, lighting, spot, food, staff, price.... AMazing...A must try!
For being at Brasserie Daniel Lapointe couple times a year in the last 15 years, I never been désapointed. I'm not embarass to bring friends or family. Very nice, causy, excellent service and excellent food. If you go for the season seafood special, you are not desapoint for the price and quality. Menu à la carte remain in a fair... plus

Very accomodating as we just wanted vegetables and salad with no rice or potatoes... plus
It was a long travel day so it was close to 2:00PM when we finally had time for lunch. The hotel pointed us at Brasserie Daniel Lapoint about one block away. I had been there once a few years ago but I did not recall much about it. We got it just under the wire to order from the special... plus

We ate dinner here while visiting Sherbrooke. It looked nice from the outside - across from the federal government building - seemed busy. So we went in. Our first mistake.
It couldn't have been more awful! Cold food, terrible service, packaged everything. And to boot, expensive!
In point:
- The white bread is served in little pre-packaged plastic wrap (?!), in a basket.
- The hamburger I...
