As far as I'm concerned, the macarons here are pretty good. I've never been a huge fan of them because I always found them too sugary, sweet, or artificial tasting.. but I suppose that's because my first experience having them wasn't that great.

I purchased macarons and a hazelnut chocolate cake here for my birthday. The cake was incredible. I have dreams about it. It's on the expensive side, but for any special occasion, this is the place to go. It's right next to a streetcar stop as well, so very easy to get to.

This is one of my favourite places for cupcake and macarons. They usually have a good variety of macarons and the flavours are a bit more different than the regular chocolate and vanilla ones. I've never been to their actual store, but I tried their macarons at a Yelp event. They were the best macarons I've ever had, including those I tried in Paris. The marshmallow was gooey without being too sweet, the salted caramel was the perfect combination of salty and sweet, and the chocolate had the slightly crispy quality of the top of a brownie.
