Great location, great management, very clean

My husband and I stayed at the blue sky last weekend and we had a fantastic stay!
Jordan and his wife Elaina the owners are amazing and full of hospitality.
The rooms are very clean as well the beds are comfortable.
The location is great right across from the ocean!
Will be coming back many more times!

Sufficient for a stayover

We stayed here for one night while waiting to catch a ferry in the morning. The motel is located on quite a busy thoroughfare so, could be a bit noisy if your room is facing the road.
Jordan and Elena were helpful and friendly and kept the place clean.

Pleasant family-owned motel, with one limitation

I stayed for one night at the Blue Sky Motel. Every reviewer who said that the owners, Elena and Jordan, are delightful people--helpful, friendly, honest businesspeople--is quite right. I believe they live on the premises. My room was spotless. The ambiance was delightful, with the ocean and dock just across the street. It was very peaceful.

August 21, 2013We stopped at the Blue Sky Motel while heading to Mile 0 on the Sunshine Coast. As we were riding by the motel, a friendly man waved to us. Right then I thought what a friendly place. This place is great! It may not look like much but the rooms are updated and clean, the owners are awesome and the views are spectacular! We have been back twice in the last month just to enjoy the evening sunset from our motel chairs. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area!

An older-style motel but very clean and comfortable, and the staff were both friendly and helpful. The ocean is right across the road so half of the rooms have ocean views.

Something we will never forget....but not necessarily in a good way
September 30, 2009We missed the ferry, the jazz festival was in town.....and this was the only motel/hotel we could find that would take pets. The towels were bought I'm sure in the 1950's, the duvet was not clean....but the sheets were. We laughed about it.....because the only other alternative was to cry.
