Great food with attractive presentation. Our waiter was excellent, with just the right amount of attention. A little bit pricey, even for art food. Appetizers, entrée, desert (shared), and a moderate bottle of wine totaled just over $200 with tip.

Expensive - small portions

Hi, if you like paying a lot for a small amount of food then you will like it here, I ordered the lobster/crab spring roll for $11 ....not worth it. For an appetizer I thought it would at least give two spring rolls. I also ordered the duck and it was raw, we sent it back and went somewhere else to eat.

What Lunch

$14 for 4 little tomatoes in a bowl? How is that suppose to be lunch? And the Mac & Cheese was still not enough to fill a person up for lunch and at a cost of $17.00. I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it as a great lunch spot, of course unless you eat before you go!

Pricey

The food was good however very expensive. The waiter was friendly but his tables were spread too far apart including the patio. The post dinner coffee arrived long before the dessert and a refill was not offered until long after dessert when we were ready to leave

Excellent, as usual

Dined with 2 colleagues, lunch consisted of 2 courses each and was about $30. Top shelf service and excellent execution. Ask to sit near the kitchen and marvel in its silence. When you hear the claps, you know a plate is coming together or service is required. Still remains one of the best places in Calgary to eat.

We went for an anniversary. Although the food tasted fine and was presented well. The portions for the price were inadequate. The salmon and sable fish portions were somewhat fair but they really could have added a few more veggies(had 3) and gnocchis (I had about 12) for very little extra cost. Lovely evening

We had a wonderful dining experience on our first night in Calgary. It was so nice that we returned a few nights later for another Lychee martini and foie gras appetizer. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

good food and close quaters

Great food! Service was very good. Very clean.The only complaint I have is that the tables are so close to eachother that you can be apart of your neighbors conversations or listen to their child misbehave.

This used to be an Asian restaurant, but now it has gone upscale.
Food was good and served quickly and staff was friendly.

Always a good option for group lunches. Centrally located and tend to be able to accommodate larger parties. Very small portion sizes. Thought about hitting a drive through on the way home.

Really disappointed

Ordered pork and it was chewy fatty and flavorless. My husband had the striped bass and it was served on steamed vegetables in a pool of water. Weird

we shared a starter of scallops, they were big, juicy and very tasty. Maincourses were good, too: pork and halibut. all summed us with attentive service and nice wine. Will come back again.

Awesome experience at Blink ! My wife and I celbrated our 15th wedding anniversay at Blink. The staff were all great and the meal was very enjoyable. My wife required a Gluten and Dairy Free meal. No issues as the staff ensured she was looked after.

Nice restaurant

We generally go out on 7 Avenue but would like some changes then we went to Blink.
It was a nice restaurant, food was great and the service was nice.
They just fill up you wine of glass too fast and too much otherwise nothing bad too say.

Service needs work

It took 15 minutes just to get water and are waitress was not very talkative or friendly at the start. It got better later on though. Took 20mins to get desert though. Overall the food was great!

Nice ambience, great server, but did not have all menu items available. Our party was hoping to have the lamb but it was unavailable. The garnishes of the halibut dish were great, but the fish was a little dry. Large wine list. Nice salads. Good desserts.

Great food with good service

Had dinner with my wife. The food was great and the service just as good. Enjoyed the Foie gras as starter and the beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly and a decent portion of meat. Will definitely recommend Blink.

Amazing menu

The entire menu from appetizers to desserts was awesome. It was very hard to make a decision..everything looked great. Ended up ordering different things between the 3 of us so we could try more dishes. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Cant wait to go back

Really great experience at Blink. Delicious cocktails, AMAZING food!! The only criticism I have is that our server was only good. He did his job well and everything but wasnt overly personable. Small criticism. Certainly didnt effect the evening and will be back again soon.

Blink is on another level

Blink is one of Calgary's gems. Excellent ambience. Reminds me of New York with it's exposed brick walls and set up. Wine list is one of the best in Calgary. Great sommelier! Service is top notch with very friendly staff. Food was out of this world good from front to back! Definitely one of my go to places for romantic nights and special occasions. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely picture window!

I asked for a romantic table and they placed us in the window seat. It was a lovely weekday evening and it was great to watch all the passersby on their way home from work. The server was attentive without being intrusive. The meal was perfect and the chocolate mousse divine. I would definitely recommend this place for a special evening out.

Blink Worth the Visit

A menu that keys to a Canadian regional style of dining - fresh and local or near local ingredients.
Good variety that won't disappoint - the salmon dish was done perfectly - and great for business lunch.

Our portions were too small, smaller than normal. We added a desert at the end to fill us up but still felt disappointed that our meals were disappointing. I will say that this is not typical at Blink as I have been here many times and usually I am very impressed.

After reading the reviews I thought we were in for a tasty dinner. Unfortunately most of the food the 5 of us ordered was quite bland. The presentation was good but for a $38 piece of fish we except better then just ok.

I had not been to Blink in a few months, but found myself excited to be back. Had their short rib and it was great.
Currently the menu online does not match the one used. Their patio is ready to go, if there is ever a nice day.

Great restaurant! Excellent food, great wine and nice ambience. I was a bit concerned about the poor reviews regarding service but our waitress was excellent! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
