Good spot for dinner

Service friendly and efficient. Caesar salad was crisp and of good size. Complimentary dish of kalamata olives was a nice touch. The linguini with crimini mushrooms, artichokes, tomatoes, spinach and goat cheese was very flavourful and colourful......the addition of the extra olives made it even better! Wine choice good and they make a decent martini.

Fantastic place to eat

Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service. We love the food here, top notch cuisine. What a great place to eat. Found the experience lacking and the fare was pretty expensive for what you were actually getting. Lots of garnish and whatnot. I don't think I'd go again.

One of the best in T Bay

I've eaten here twice in the last couple of months. The food was consistently excellent, everyone in both groups was more than satisfied. Very rich desserts too. Service was good - unobtrusive but effective. I always recommend Bistro One when people are looking an exceptional restaurant experience in Thunder Bay.

Had a wonderful meal consisting of a grilled salmon on bacon corn risotto with lobster sauce. My date had a mozzarella stuffed chicken breast on deep fried veggies which were coated in Parmesan .
Even for a busy night we were seated quickly, and our meals were there in 25-30 minutes .
It was pricey, but well worth it! Looking forward to our next visit!

Best fine dinning

Best fine dinning I have had in Thunder Bay. Only have been twice though, as it is expensive. I've had a stuffed chicken which had sun-dried tomatoes, leeks and lemon I think. For dessert I had a coffee creme brule. All the food is delicious and the service was excellent.

For a quiet, romantic dinner, this is the place. Food is good, great wine list (half-bottles too).

Phenomenal well prepared food with attention to detail. Upscale, great for special occasions. Shrimp cocktail is a great variation on a classic appetizer. Absolutely outstanding restaurant. I think this is easily Thunder Bay's best option for dinning. The service and choice is both impeccable. The wait staff are both knowledgable and helpful. We really liked it

Every time I have been to Bistro I have been really happy with my app, but I have yet to find a dinner that I am impressed with. Next time I will just go for apps - it's not fun to pay $40-50 for a dinner that your not happy with.
