Great mix of new and old
May 28, 2014Fantastic dinner recommendation by a group of locals didn't disappoint. Great food with an interesting mix of North American and Italian style. Great selection of wine and spirits. This seems to be the place to be on a Saturday night out. The food was well portioned and very tasty. When back in Halifax I would return without question.

Fantastic spot, delicious food
May 27, 2014My husband and I were there, the place was packed, and the food was amazing!! The only problem was the overall noise of the place. Very difficult to hear and carry on a conversation. The wait staff were wonderful, helpful, and very attentive. I would go back again for sure!!

Great Experience
May 27, 2014My husband and I had the seafood chowder and mussels, respectively, for a late afternoon lunch. Both dishes were so good, the server so attentive and fun, and the location on the waterfront so perfect that we returned the next day with other delegates from our conference for a repeat performance. Something for everyone
May 27, 2014I have been to this restaurant on a few occasions, this was by far best experience I have had here. Everything has great, service, food, and a nice selection of wine. This is not your traditional Italian restaurant, there are many seafood options. This restaurant is always busy, which is a good sign but I would recommend a reservation.

Excellent from start to finish
May 27, 2014A group of us went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration and we were not dissapointed. Everything was perfect from start to finish, from the service, to the food, and the ambiance - just wonderful. The view was wonderful, the food was tasty and affordable, and the service was top notch (thank you Andrew).

Big and loud, but fun with friends

December 21, 2011I love the way the Bicycle Thief mixes classy with casual- the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, yet it still feels like an upscale restaurant. The food was delicious! Great presentation, and delicious sauces on shrimp, scallops, and pasta. I tried the lobster ravioli, and next time i'll be trying what my friend ordered- the pistachio glazed salmon; both were so tasty! I can't wait to return!
