Not bad for a remote area

Choices to stay are rather limited up in the north, but this place was very good. Staff was excellent and very courteous. My room was very clean and although faced the main road, it was very quiet.
The breakfast area could be a bit bigger, but not a deal breaker.

Nice Stay
February 15, 2014A great spot to stay in a very isolated town. We always stay here when we go north to snowmobile. It is a little off the trail but is worth the little extra distance. Always friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast is well presented. There is a good selection of different rooms available to match your needs.

Surprisingly great hotel in small Northern Ontario town
February 06, 2014Always a great experience. Rare to find such a nice hotel in such a small Northern Ontario town. Staff is really friendly, rooms are clean and quiet. Pillows are a bit hard though. I stay here often for work so I've stayed in almost every type of room they offer based on availability, all are fantastic.

Excellent experience
January 09, 2014Being storm stayed an extra day in Cochrane was made a wonderful experience due to the recommendations and attention of the staff at this hotel. Possibly the cleanest room we've ever had anywhere. Room cleanliness is at the top of my priority list. There was nothing negative about our experience.

Comfortable Stay
September 01, 2013I love the location as it is across from the train station. Tommy's are very clean, and beds are very comfortable! I enjoy staying here the night we arrive off the train, or the night before we leave on the train the next morning. Highly recommend you stay here. The price you pay is worth the comfort.

March 25, 2013I stayed here more than once with my Family! This is my top choice where to stay when in Cochrane. The rooms I stayed in (past and recent) were always clean and large (roomy). The front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating, it was nice to be serviced by someone who truly enjoys their doing their job.

I had a very nice suite (306) with separate living room area and work space. It seemed very new, clean and bright and the hotel staff were friendly and courteous.
Breakfast was OK... fresh fruit, breads and pastries were good, but the coffee and waffle mix could use some upgrading.
