It's really nice to stay. It is really quiet. It's close to beaches and trails. The service girl is really nice as well.

A trip away from home.

We checked in on time. The front of house staff were pleasant enough, she just seemed to be in a hurry when we were the only ones in the lobby and the parking lot was empty. disappointing

jets not working in the hot tub,had to get dressed go up to the front desk and ask them to reset them,the clerk seamed annoyed that i asked this. the room was dusty. it said it had a coffee shop,we couldn't find it or anyone to ask.

Nice Pet Friendly Hotel

We had a great time staying here. The room on the main level had high ceilings and was set up for our small dog. Nice large pillow and bowl for him. The balcony and deck chairs were right out our door. Really nice bay to walk the pier at. The only drawback was a herd of kids from a hockey team were let on the loose by their parents who were in the bar.

Convenient for hockey tournament

Hotel was nice , clean , very comfy beds. the room was cold, and we couldn't figure out the heat, but we were only there to sleep so didn't bother. would be nice if they would include breakfast.

Beautiful looking hotel.

Staff was very friendly. For dinner shared appies which were very tasty. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay

Celebrated our 49th anniversary here and the staff were excellent. The restaurant staff, Jessie and Stephen were just superb and made our night fantastic.

We had the joy of attending a family wedding at the Best Western Prestige Oceanfront Resort. What a delightful surprise in Sooke. The location is beautiful and the resort matches the views. Well appointed rooms and very helpful staff makes this resort a must stay.

Great front desk staff. Fantastic views. Very poor service in the restaurant. Trust me stay away from the hotel restaurant. Service was very slow and food was cold. Note restaurant was only 15% full so not busy and we still had slow service.

WOW! After coming from a substandard hotel in Victoria to this - it was just like night and day and then some!

First off, the location is divine.. the views of the water are just picturesque. The hotel was pretty "grand" in itself. You can tell they feel some major pride taking care of this place. Everything shined including the lovely glass chandelier!

Stayed two nights for our anniversary. Room and Lobby were lovely - we had a partial ocean view room. Service was great and staff very helpful. Mentioned that our Bathroom door squeaked and it was dealt with right away. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great trip. The resort was nice and the view from our balcony was great. It was disappointing that the pool and hot tub weren't working but they did discount our stay slightly. The restaurant and spa were good. Nice furnishings in the hotel. It wasn't over the top amazing but it was nice.

Modern resort

We were surprised at the quality and style with this hotel not normally associated with Best Western. Rooms were lovely and were clean. Hotel had good facilities and enjoyed the spa and pool. A little more on the expensive side. Receptionist was helpful and accommodating.

Ocean Front Resort Sooke BC

We enjoyed our stay very much, the staff were friendly and polite. The hotel location is very scenic overlooking the ocean. There is a sense of space here, both the parking area and lobby are very large. I would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to escape the cily.

Took my breathe away

We were quite impressed by the décor in the rooms. The outdoor appearance resembles something from N'awlings. Staff are very cordial and anxious to make sure all is well for your stay. Our room was well equipped with fridge. micro, coffee maker, sink and dishes.

Lovely place to stay in a friendly town

This Best Western is a Premier, top line property. Very near lots of natural attractions like beaches and world-famous trails. The room and the beds were excellent. Didn't try the restaurant because it was too up-scale for this mini-vacation.

Evening staff lack initiative

Was offered the "Romance" package and enjoyed our balcony and oceanfront view. Rooms are modern but unspectacular. Enjoyed a very good meal at the new Western Grill. Reasonably priced too! Spa was difficult to book but General Manager was very accomodating and replaced our Spa coupon with added meal coupons. I will definitely go back :)

Great Stay in Sooke

Staff was awesome, We stayed mid-week in April, so hotel was very quiet. Room was spacious and overlooked the harbour, complete with Sea Otters playing in front of the resort. Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds and amenities.

Tranquility just outside of Victoria

I do business quite often in Victoria and need to get away from the city at night. The BW Prestige Oceanfront resort is about 25min from town but well worth the drive each day. It is new, modern and offers a resort-style atmosphere for business class pricing. They also have a EV charging station that I took advantage of.

Couldn't see how to control air conditioning

This is a first class luxury establishment. I stayed in Suite #302, which had a wraparound deck overlooking the harbour/bay of Sooke. It was beautiful. This luxury hotel offers everything the discriminating traveller expects. And the location is......perfect! I rarely give 5 stars...this hotel/resort is 6!

Nice place in Sooke

Hotel is in a great location right on the water in Sooke. Expected a little more service for the price. The experience doesn't live up to the pictures. Coffee shop and wine bar were never open. Seemed to be understaffed a bit. Maybe this is because we stayed midweek?

Good alternate to downtown Victoria prices

My wife and I were glad for this place on our recent trip to Victoria. Very comfortable room and immaculate. Nice to be on the waterfront, loved the big lobby windows and outdoor porch for the view.
