Clean hotel room good but noise level bad

Hotel room was clean without a heavy chemical smell. It was nice to be offered a complimentary dinner. It was simple yet filling. The noise of the heater turning on and off during the night disturbed our sleep. Also, the noise of the #8 hyway.

Hotel was located just off a major road and gave us easy on/off access to locations we went to. We really enjoyed our room. We had a ground floor room and therefore we had patio doors. The hotel was not what I expected for a 4 rating. I don't understand how that hotel rated that high. The only thing that was nice was the bed and linens. Excellent choice

Room was very quiet and located in a practical spot. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay in this hotel. We were welcomed with smiles and kindness. Only small hic is that an extra $15.00 was charged on my credit card but I don't know why.

Everything we needed

We were in Kitchener for my daughter's birthday. This hotel provided us with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We did not eat breakfast as the room was quite small and quite warm. We would stay here again.

Wonderful people at the front desk, answered all of our question. Very polite and knowledgeable staff. Housekeeping does a fantastic job throughout the hotel. The beds are very comfortable when you first lay on them, but boy do our backs hurt now! Overall it was a wonderful stay.

Not satisfied

The top of my wardrobe was disgusting, there was a layer of dust covering the entire surface. There was black hair in my tub/shower and one on the floor in the bathroom. The bed was amazing, very comfortable. I would not return.

The hot tub was not in service, and closed at 10pm.....not sure why as you have to go to the desk to get a special key to get into that area. That was a disappointment. The room was ok, nothing special for the price we paid. I believe the room is too expensive for the facility.

Snoring neighbors

Great breakfast and friendly staff. The building and the room are clean and the bed was comfortable. The real problem is the walls in this hotel are very thin. We could hear every word of the conversations in the next room, we heard them snore and pass gas.

While the location just off the highway was convenient and complimentary breakfast was very good, my room was unpleasantly musty and the surrounding neighborhood was... intimidating after dark. It was serviceable for my purposes given that I wasn't in the room all that much. The pizza place across the street is not to be missed.

The room was very large and had a fridge, microwave and pull out couch. The beds were very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel. The location is very handy to a large, nearby mall and restaurants. Unfortunately, we arrived just as a snowstorm came and that hampered any plans to do anything other than go to eat dinner.

Very easy to locate.

Our stay here was enjoyable. It was only for overnight so we could be ready for our early morning flight. The breakfast was a nice surprise which we found to be satisfying. Very quiet so we were able to get a good night of sleep before we went on our vacation to warmer climates. We would stay here again should the opportunity arise.

New Years Eve

We happened to be in the area helping our daughter pack and move to another city. It was NYE so we had spent a long time packing and were looking for a relatively quiet room. The staff indicated 3 rooms I could choose from and it was wonderful. A very quiet a restful nights sleep on what could have been a very loud night of celebrating. The room was very clean and the king bed very comfortable.

Checked in late at night, friendly desk clerk who answered our questions about the location of places we needed to go.

This Best Western Plus is right off the highway coming into town. it is a bit far from shopping and downtown but theres alot of small shops and retaurants near by,, Tims is not far. The room was clean and the fridge and microwave were a nice addition. I loved the pool area and the poolside bar was open for appy's and drinks. Two hot tubs were a surprise too. We used the WEGO bus to travel back and forth and it was only $7 for a 24 hour period. It takes you everywhere to all attractions!!

Stayed 1 night, the room was ok but nothing special. The washroom is small and basic, the bed was comfortable but the temperature and humidity were hard to control. I only booked here since other hotels I stay at were already booked up ahead of Oktoberfest.

Found hard to locate......maybe needs to be sign posted a few exits prior and from different approach directions. A little pricey for its locale and considering the 2 competitors Holiday Inn and other motel. Mall close by with Walmart was a good plus. Town/City closes up early. Perfectly pleasant

Obviously its not a 5 star hotel, but we were very pleased with our 3 night stay in June. I was impressed at the cleanliness, even with the remote controls shaped in a way for easy cleaning. The room had a microwave and fridge which was put to good use. Overall, no complaints and the breakfast was nice too.

What a dump!

Place is under construction and should be shut down while they are renovating.

There is no elevator, the breakfast was minimal, coffee cups are about 8oz, there is no bed skirting around the mattresses, the parking is awful, and the toilet seat does not stay up due to a shelf of granite they put in making the toilet seat fall down immediately after you put it up.

This hotel cannot enforce their own no-smoking policy. I have stayed here numerous times in the last year because the location is good and it is cheap, but am always given a non-smoking room that has been smoked in in the recent past, including the same day! This hotel is the best one in the area. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were outstanding. very very clean. This is the best place in town. No need to spend more $ if your looking for comfortable and affortable accommodations. They have everything you need. I even got a snack bag when I checked into my room. That was a nice touch.
