Clean staff were excellent very helpful. Great breakfast!
The hotel reminded me of my teen age travel times. The room was small but very clean. The coffee maker was tucked into a cabinet making it hard to read and understand the directions to use it. I parked in front of the sliding door to enter my room. The lock on the sliding door did not work but the drop down door bar did. The bed was very comfortable With lots of pillows. I had planned a full... more
Hotel room was clean without a heavy chemical smell. It was nice to be offered a complimentary dinner. It was simple yet filling. The noise of the heater turning on and off during the night disturbed our sleep. Also, the noise of the #8 hyway.
We wanted something close to family. This worked very well for us.
I loved our stay. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn but wanted to try something closer to our daughter's house. The hotel staff and rooms were great. It has easy access from the expressway and easy travel to downtown. Even though it is located by a busy highway our room was quiet and we had a great night's sleep. We travel from the states to visit our daughter and we will definitely be back in... more
Hotel was located just off a major road and gave us easy on/off access to locations we went to. We really enjoyed our room. We had a ground floor room and therefore we had patio doors. Got to park right outside room, great. Breakfast was slightly different each day, room was clean and the staff was awesome!
We were celebrating my birthday and wanted to spend the night in a hotel in Kitchener and go out for a nice supper. Our experience was a very positive one! The front desk person was very friendly and helpful during our check-in. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our standard King bedroom was very clean and had ample space. The bedding looked clean and modern. The bathroom looked a... more
The hotel was not what I expected for a 4 rating. I don't understand how that hotel rated that high. The only thing that was nice was the bed and linens. The hotel is dated, the food dreadful, even the smell of the basic dinner served, soup and chili smelled dreadful. We went off site for dinner. The air conditioner kept us awake most the night, the sink drain didn't drain. I have experienced... more
Staff was knowledgeable and pleasant. I actually had very few chances for interaction with the staff.
the service I received on your front desk, concerning payment, invoicing or cash payment was behind all expectation. I can not recommend your Hotel again.
Very nice clean hotel, with very comfy beds. Not in a great location for walking or sitting outside because it is right beside a couple very busy roads.
Very underwhelming hot tub. I was very happy to be alone because, it is so small that it would have been very akward otherwise.
Breakfast had a lot of choices, it was...

Well located for our needs. room was clean. Bed was nice and quiet even with the highway right out our sliding door. Second time we have stayed here. Skip the breakfast, it is the weak part of the stay. go around the corner to Country Boy
Very nice staff and a comfortable bed......that's about it. Breakfast is inedible. The hotel is in a good location. The fitness room is barely a fitness room. The water from the tap tasted gross. At the time it was the hotel available. In a pinch its good
We've often stayed at Best Western Hotels and it never disappoints. But, BW Plus was extra special in every way. Stylish reception room, comfy, clean, and fluffy beds, equipped with a fridge and a microwave. Breakfast room is medium size with the usual staple for breakfast: eggs, sausages, waffles, yoghurt, coffee, tea, juices and the like. Their hospitality is superb!... more
Room was very quiet and located in a practical spot. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay in this hotel. We were welcomed with smiles and kindness. Only small hic is that an extra $15.00 was charged on my credit card but I don't know why.
We were in Kitchener for my daughter's birthday. This hotel provided us with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We did not eat breakfast as the room was quite small and quite warm. We would stay here again.
Always have a great stay at Best Western Hotels. Always the staff are friendly and very helpful with everything including directions. Location was perfect. Transit was close by so car was not needed. Bed was very comfortable.
Hotel easy to find right off main highway. At arrive welcome to a beautiful lobby, excellent front desk service, fast check in, friendly and helpful staff especially giving suggestions for dinner. Nice breakfast in the morning lots of room again friendly staff in the breakfast room. Guest room, clean, excellent lighting for working, very quiet room, comfortable bed.
The hotel is well kept and in a good location for shopping at outlet stores or malls. The staff was friendly, curteous, and helpful. The breakfast was fresh, hot and excellant, and the start and finish times suited us to a tea. The fitness centre should have instructions on how to adjust the Oysessis 5, but other than that no... more
Small room, could hear the arguing of next door guests all night.
Wonderful people at the front desk, answered all of our question. Very polite and knowledgeable staff. Housekeeping does a fantastic job throughout the hotel. The beds are very comfortable when you first lay on them, but boy do our backs hurt now! Overall it was a wonderful stay.
Just stayed over nioght for a meeting the next day
The only real problem was that the bathroom sink drained incredibly slowly.
Would not get the same room. Too close to ice machine and snack machines. Very noisy. Especially when in use. Nice room, but toilet kept running after flushing. Did not get the best nights rest. Staff was excellent. Breakfast very good.
Stayed for a night and was happy with the service, light breakfast, and quietness. Bed was comfortable. Wireless was good quality to watch netflix on iPad. Sufficient soaps and towels. Pod style coffee maker was handy. Good water pressure in shower.
7 day business stay in quite, spacious, clean king room which was consistent throughout hotel. Great night sleep in very comfortable bed. Standard hot breakfast with fresh coffee and juice machines all day long. Mon., Tue., & Wed. free simple supper but free extra to make stay above average. Amenities included great hot tube and hot sauna. Supper location central... more
We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of this motel.
My husband and I spent the night at this hotel on May 27th and were impressed. Reception was friendly and the location of our room was perfect. The location is great for business and family visits in Kitchener-Waterloo and for access from several major highways, even for getting to the Stratford Festival. As with Best Western, the rates are quite competitive and much better than some. This facility is very well looked after, clean and in great condition. Our room on the ground floor had the advantage... more
Hotel was very good for the price. Location slightly inconvenient. Needs a sign at the entrance.
The top of my wardrobe was disgusting, there was a layer of dust covering the entire surface. There was black hair in my tub/shower and one on the floor in the bathroom. The bed was amazing, very comfortable. I would not return.
Just in town for a work meeting for one night. Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Clean room. Quiet. Great stay!
The hot tub was not in service, and closed at 10pm.....not sure why as you have to go to the desk to get a special key to get into that area. That was a disappointment. The room was ok, nothing special for the price we paid. I believe the room is too expensive for the facility.
Lovely fresh odor in all of hotel, clean rooms and hallways, breakfast was overall good and fresh, except scrambled eggs. Food was continually topped up and kept covered. Little concern over the safety issues presented by unsecured internet. Bathroom could use some minor reno's [new caulk in tub area and paint on ceilings above tub [Rm 136]. We were part of a sports team that recently stayed at this location. It was very clean and a great location , right off the highway. The rooms were clean as well but, kind of on the smaller side, and the pullout sofa, is a ' single-bed' pullout.

I have been staying at this Best Western PLUS since it opened. I always stay there when I travel to the Kitchener-Waterloo Region. The rooms are always clean. Great breakfast and friendly staff. The building and the room are clean and the bed was comfortable. The real problem is the walls in this hotel are very thin. We could hear every word of the conversations in the next room, we heard them snore and pass gas.
While the location just off the highway was convenient and complimentary breakfast was very good, my room was unpleasantly musty and the surrounding neighborhood was... intimidating after dark. It was serviceable for my purposes given that I wasn't in the room all that much. The pizza place across the street is not to be missed.
I went with my family to this resort in Kitchener, where my father grew up. It was friendly, very adequate space, and added breakfast. I likes this resort, and most best westerns are very good. I also thoroughly enjoyed the kind service here.
My wife and I often stay at the Best Western Plus in Kitchener when we attend our regional convention at The Aud. The hotel has been completely renovated. The rooms are very comfortable with wonderful mattresses on the queen sized beds. We stay here when we visit family in Kitchener. On my last review of this hotel, I compared it with Howard Johnson, as we used to stay there. This Best Western wins hands down. It is extremely clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts are very good, as they include eggs, bacon or sausage (depending on the day) yogurt, fresh orange... more
Good sized, clean and comfortable room with all amenities.
Friendly and helpful staff, service with a smile.
Included breakfast was good, just your average continental selection.
Located near shopping mall and restaurants and a few other shops nearby.
Overall a great hotel everything was almost excellent . But we were staying on the highway side and it was loud in the morning. No pool but hot tub nice to relax in .breakfast was nice serving hot and cold items
Great hotel with friendly staff. Clean and bright with very comfortable rooms. Free breakfast and wifi. Also had up to date appliances and tvs. Décor was bright and fresh. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely go there again.
We were in town for a family wedding. Not much time was spent at the hotel, but when there, everything was good.
Not the fanciest,or biggest. But wow great value, excellent beds and good free breakfast. Only bad thing is shower water pressure could be higher. But to be expected in an area with hard water and use of water softeners
Hot tub water was green. Had to ask for a key every time to use workout equipment or business computers. Hotel staff was pleasing except the girl who checked me in as she would not give me a room on the first floor, they were not sold out, nor allow me to change rooms during the week. I was there Sunday to Friday and had a briefcase with a laptop and materials for teaching, lunch bag, shoes in... more

The Best Western Plus in Kitchener-Waterloo is clean, friendly and comfortable. quiet, good food, clean what more could you ask for? Great value for the price.Comfortable bed.Looking for a complaint...ok water pressure in shower good be harder.
The room was very large and had a fridge, microwave and pull out couch. The beds were very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel. The location is very handy to a large, nearby mall and restaurants. Unfortunately, we arrived just as a snowstorm came and that hampered any plans to do anything other than go to eat dinner.
Stayed here last week , had to spend the night in the Kitchener area for work expectantly, over all impression of the hotel , was good , all though when I first went into the main lobby to see if they had a room for the night, the first thing I noticed was the smell of backed up sewage ??... more
Our stay here was enjoyable. It was only for overnight so we could be ready for our early morning flight. The breakfast was a nice surprise which we found to be satisfying. Very quiet so we were able to get a good night of sleep before we went on our vacation to warmer climates. We would stay here again should the opportunity arise.
We happened to be in the area helping our daughter pack and move to another city. It was NYE so we had spent a long time packing and were looking for a relatively quiet room. The staff indicated 3 rooms I could choose from and it was wonderful. A very quiet a restful nights sleep on what could have been a very loud night of celebrating. The room was very clean and the king bed very comfortable.
Our overall impression of this hotel is very good. The serve yourself breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very helpful. I however found the entrance to the property was not well marked, and perhaps easy to miss.
Hotel staff is very friendly. Hotel itself is very clean. Room is very clean as well.
The hotel stay was fairly pleasant. Room was a bit small for all of the furniture in there so it seemed a bit tight , but very clean and well furnished. The only real problem with the room was the sliding patio door let in a huge amount of cold air, making one side of the room rather cold at all times causing the heater to run more often than should have been necessary. Otherwise it was a good... more
Good clean rooms. Friendly staff and nearby food. Only gave a 3 star seeing as the area isn't that great and the rooms have nothing that's above and beyond.
This hotel has easy access to the 401 as well as the highway 7/8
It's kind of confusing getting in and out of the hotel as it's a one way but isn't clearly marked.
Recommended for business travellers or any sports tournaments.
The Hotel staff was really nice and helpful. The room was clean and the furniture for the most part was well updated. The breakfast had plenty of choices. The only complaint I have would be that the fold away bed was terrible. The main bed in the room was lovely, but It was more comfortable to sleep on the floor than the fold out. If you have multiple people staying there, I would opt for a... more
We stay at a hotel in Kitchener on a regular basis, while visiting family. Checked in late at night, friendly desk clerk who answered our questions about the location of places we needed to go.
Room was not made up or our 2nd night. Bedside lamp didn't work as there was not any outlet close enough to plug it in!
Easy access from major roads and close to the venue we were visiting. The Kitchener Auditorium. Friendly staff. Providing breakfast is very convenient so the people in our group could rise a different times in the morning.
This Best Western Plus is right off the highway coming into town. it is a bit far from shopping and downtown but theres alot of small shops and retaurants near by,, Tims is not far. There is another Best Western closer to town, make sure you have the right one when you book. Free breakfast was hot and good.
This was a wonderful stay!! I travel extensively and am very frugal with my budget. The value for the money was outstanding!! An excellent breakfast each day offering waffles, eggs, sausage or bacon, 2 juices, coffee, assorted muffins, yogurt, etc. Then, each night at supper time they had a simple meal of a chili, noodle with vegetables, etc. All included in the price of the room. Also, every... more
Complimentary breakfasts every day and dinners 3 nights a week, clean rooms, very comfy beds, awesome staff. Only problem was the hot tub wasn't working which was too bad but the staff made up for it with their awesome attitudes and delicious foods! Will be returning next time in Kitchener!
Room was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast was appreciated.
My Husband and I had a very enjoyable time at the Best Western Plus Hotel In Kitchener. We went the Octoberfest this year and last and enjoyed our stay very much. It was easy to find and easy to get to the Venues and back.
Comfortable, clean , great very pleasant staff , front desk , rhousekeeping . Had a very nice surprise , each evening 2-3 crockpots out for a bit of warm evening snack in brk fast room. On the hotel. Just great , simple , tasty . Very happy , will stay again, but also other locations in my travels . Thank so much Kitchener , had a great week with u . Regards , mr R-W. Hoekstra. Edmonton. AB.
very good, very comfortable bed, very clean room
The room was clean and the fridge and microwave were a nice addition. I loved the pool area and the poolside bar was open for appy's and drinks. Two hot tubs were a surprise too. We used the WEGO bus to travel back and forth and it was only $7 for a 24 hour period. It takes you everywhere to all attractions!!
Great room and bed complete with the DIY breakfast. No restaurant or bar but for a single night it was perfect for the price
Stayed 1 night, the room was ok but nothing special. The washroom is small and basic, the bed was comfortable but the temperature and humidity were hard to control. I only booked here since other hotels I stay at were already booked up ahead of Oktoberfest.
Room was very adequate, having the breakfast was great, the location was convenient and the price was better than most.
Our king room was small but very nice. We had reserved a king with a sofa bed but did not get it upon arrival. Breakfast was OK.
The room was clean, comfortable, and plenty of room. The pressure in the shower was terrible. The staff were happy, friendly and welcoming. The over all condition of the hotel was in good repair. The one thing that could change is the fitness room. The equipment was very basic, one treadmill, one elliptical, one weight machine, one recumbent bike. The spa space was just okay, the sauna very... more
Our stay for 3 nights was at best okay! The continental breakfast wasn't up to our standard. We would of liked to see more variety!
Found hard to locate......maybe needs to be sign posted a few exits prior and from different approach directions. A little pricey for its locale and considering the 2 competitors Holiday Inn and other motel. Mall close by with Walmart was a good plus. Town/City closes up early. Overall a decent stay, bed was comfortable and breakfast a great ammenity.
The hotel was very nice. It was close to expressway, but we did not hear traffic. Convenient location. Room clean, beds comfortable.
Room looked almost new. Certainly very clean and well maintained. Breakfast selection was basic but good. Seems like the same selection everywhere.
Great hotel. Breakfast room was small for the large number of guests. But everything else about this place was good. Will definitely return.
Room was quiet, but smaller. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Hotel lobby was okay.
Have always stayed at Best Western Hotels and have never had a problem. This one is no exception. The only suggestion is to extend the hours of the free breakfast for another hour. Some os us do like to sleep in a bit.
We were visiting the Stratford area to attend a play. Since there we no motels available in Stratford we decided to stay in Kitchener. The room was smaller than expected with areas that were below fire code access widths and you had to move through them sideways. Stayed here on business over a weekend. The room was very nice with a large comfortable king-size bed. The staff was courteous and friendly. I have 2 complaints, the toilet seat wouldn't stay up and the breakfast was terrible. I ate elsewhere.

Room great,People great,Breakfast great.Special mention for Brenda...what a sense of humour. My wife and I were over from Scotland and could not have asked for any more from everyone at BW.IF you are visiting K.W. look no further.
Obviously its not a 5 star hotel, but we were very pleased with our 3 night stay in June. I was impressed at the cleanliness, even with the remote controls shaped in a way for easy cleaning. The room had a microwave and fridge which was put to good use. Overall, no complaints and the breakfast was nice too.
Very comfortable and clean room. Would stay there again and would highly recommend. Our reservation was as we booked it - no problems. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Because of limited time, we were not able to enjoy the breakfast. Perhaps next time we stay, we will have more time to enjoy more .
This hotel was so accommodating for me. Absolutely the friendliest staff, they were quick to meet every need..I got the suite I requested, there was a gym, sauna and whirlpool that erased the work day. I'll admit it. I'm a Best Western fanboy.
When out of town, my girlfriend and I have always opted for the pricier hotels, to guarantee a nice clean place and a good experience, but lately we've found ourselves going more and more with Best Western. Their prices are always very cheap, the rooms spotless, the service impeccable, and with complimentary breakfast to boot. Their Waterloo location...

There is no elevator, the breakfast was minimal, coffee cups are about 8oz, there is no bed skirting around the mattresses, the parking is awful, and the toilet seat does not stay up due to a shelf of granite they put in making the toilet seat fall down immediately after you put it up.
