Stayed here for a night while we went on a Lil mini vacay. Loved almost everything about this hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and probably the nicest staff I've ever dealt with when it comes to hotels. An overall good experience at this pretty typical Best Western hotel. Very friendly & helpful front desk staff. Did not use the pool or gym but they looked well kept. Convenient location. Very quiet, clean room on 7th floor. Included moderate speed WIFI worked well.

We hope to be back

We stayed at the BW for 3 days and enjoyed every minute. We were so central to everything, so not having a car this was important. The breakfast was very good, all services were good and the staff very friendly. The hotel was very clean and just as an afterthought the price was right.

Great Location and close to everything

Great value for the dollar located close to the Parliament buildings and Victoria Harbour. We parked the car when arriving and never used it again until time to go home. You can walk everywhere around the harbour and to the downtown core where there is plenty of places to eat. Breakfast is supplied and a nice variety to choose from.

The rooms feature a well-equipped kitchenette partitioned off from the sleeping area which is a welcome change from the usual coffee maker on a dresser. Its location at the Inner Harbour puts it within an easy stroll of the city's attractions: the Legislature, Museum, shops and dining.

Very nice experience. Room was clean, comfortable and perfect for our travel needs. Staff were very helpful. Amazing hotel...our room was just great!!! We were not expecting the kitchenette at all, and that was definitely a plus. The rooms were all quite spacious; the bathroom especially.

Nice and close to attractions

It is so conveniently located for museum, Beacon Hill Park, and a prime area for some waterfront walks. Close to catch a tour bus, go have High Tea. Close to the parliment buildings. The rooms are Clean and a very good size. Some have a little kitchen in them.

We have stayed at this location on 3 occassions and will definately return. It is so conveniently located for resturants, museum, Beacon Hill Park, and a prime area for some waterfront walks. The staff were excellent and the breakfast area is bright, cheerful and offers a good selection.

The hotel was ok, there was quite a bit of building and road reservations going on which was a bit "untidy" but otherwise ok. Room was neat and the spa pool was really nice, on the top of the building.

Had a pleasant stay while enjoying the sights and shops of Victoria. Hotel is conveniently located on the inner harbor. It is close enough to downtown shopping to be convenient, and far enough away from downtown to be quiet. Lots of good restaurants in the immediate area.

Nice view of the harbour when the leaves are off the trees. Loved the mini kitchen - full oven. This would be great if you didn't want to eat out all the time. convenient hotel...

The staff here are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. Unfortunately the insulation between rooms seems to be non-existant an we were given a room right where the ambulance is ...so I got to listen to it come ( backup alarm) and go all night long, so little sleep was had.

A disappointing experience.

The bathroom had hair on the bath mat and the floor was not clean, (hair etc.) I felt that the room was not really clean. However the room layout was very nice. The bed was very comfortable but I wished I had brought my own sheets. The breakfast on Saturday was REALLY disappointing, the fruit was very over ripe and bruised. A mix up occurred in booking. I asked for 2 beds and got only one. As soon as it was discovered mistake rectified and we were upgraded, at no extra charge to a beautiful suite! Expected mediocre food at breakfast and was delighted with fresh, tasty menu with an amazing array of choices...fabulous!

New Years Night

We had the pent house suite for new years night and it was fantastic. Balconys all round to see the whole habour. Very frendly staff. Only bad, was the elevator motors was above and could hear it all night in the back ground. It is close to the ferry let off point, close too the shops only a short walk.

There were no adapters to loan to be able to use electricity for an european. It cost me about 11 dollars to buy one which I probably never is going to use again. Bad service!!

Room was comfortable and clean with a nice bacony to sit out on and relax. The newly remodeled bathroom and kitchen area are a plus. My only complaint is no air conditioning. Best hotel ever

My wife and I spent the night last weekend at this hotel and were extremely impressed. Nice size room with a gorgeous view of the water and in a great location downtown. The next morning we had a much better breakfast than we expected. The staff were very helpful and polite which was also a plus. We look forward to going back.

Very nice hotel, great location

This hotel is just one block back from the inner harbour with a beautiful view over a small park to the water. The room was spacious with a balcony and kitchenette. They provide free parking for guests with an easy access elevator to the rooms. When we go back to Victoria we will definitely stay there again.
