Nice pool area for the kids!

Rooms were a good size, overall was a good place to stay, lots of places to eat close by. Would stay there again. Price was good. Parking was also free! :)

just far enough away from the hustle and bustle

Great..except more luggage carts would be helpful..they didn't know where one of them were. All day they told me..someone was checking out and I followed them. This was 11at night too.

Although a little pricey, it was a great Hotel. The pool area was a very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Having the bar right in the hotel was a plus. Bartenders were first rate and prices not to bad. We would stay here again.

Great hotel.

The hotel is great. It is too far from Niagara Falls to walk though, and they charge for the shuttle and parking. The hotel staff are all excellent and very helpful. The restaurant was the only disappointment. Very slow, bad service in the restaurant and only average food.

Great place so affordable

We had an amazing time, 80's band at the pub was fantastic. The pool courtyard area is a child's dream. Just a super place and a warm welcome by the owners who came and introduced themselves.

The hotel is a little outdated, but it's clean. My only complaints with the room is that it felt damp and sticky even with the A/C on. The hotel needs to invest in a dehumidifier for the summer and an exhaust system for the bathrooms. We just had recently been there on vacation and we were impress with the staff and the hotel. The staff is very professional and always willing to do more than average to please you. Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We had stayed here years ago when our kids were small and would recommend if you have kids and want to use the pool request a room that opens on to the pool. Wonderful to be able to go right out of your room to the pool area.

The hotel itself is very nice, close to the main attractions in town and with a WEGo bus stop just almost in front. However, we did not like the fact that we had to do an Upgrade just to get a basic convenience like a Refridgerator in our room. The hotel is good for young families. The pool are is great for them. The hotel has a lot of amenities around it. Doc's restaurant attached to the hotel is beautifully decorated and busy spot at night. It is great for breakfast, good and excellent value. The staff was great. Great environment for families with an indoor pool, and play area for kids. Clean, great staff, everything I expected. The hotel may be a little far from the Clifton Hill area but it makes the area a little quieter.

Overall our experience was ok. There was a school trip so the hallways always had teen boys in them. They sat on either side of our door and stared at is awkwardly every time we left an entered the room.

Had a great overnight stay here. Room included microwave and small fridge which was very helpful to have. Beds were comfy and inviting. Wasn't thrilled about having to pay for parking, but that seems to be the way things are in Niagara Falls.

Cairn Croft Niagara Falls

Staff is extremely friendly, cheerful, & efficient. The room itself is generic. Parking is a problem, limited space and cramped lot, hard to manouver your vehicle, and then they charge you a parking fee after all that trouble.

Poor parking, heating/cooling, bathroom, noisy and TV choice. Charged for poor parking! The bed was very good. Overall a poor experience for the money paid. Was more typical of hotels at half the price.

At this hotel I find that the kids enjoy it too . They have fun at the pool or at the games. It is also great that there is a restaurant so that you do not have to leave the hotel.

Beware the noise from the bar

If staying there make sure you stay on the No Frills side of the hotel the other side is very noisy due to the bar below. Kids running around overhead and the bar below, as you can imagine we had a great night sleep.

We picked this room for good space and fridge in the room( going to stay for 6 nights) but it was very noisy probably because of courtyard every sound echoed especially happy drunk people even though they went in the room later. Handy Location--overpriced,even w/[...]

Hotel provided a convenient sleeping spot for our day and a half at Niagara Falls. For the price some breakfast should have been included.Don't know about the American side, but the Canadian side has beautiful parklike grounds for strolling as you take photos. The roar and "rain" of the falls are remarkable. You are there-spend the $16 for Maid of the Mist. It's the experience.

I stayed here and traveled to Niagra-on-the-Lake. Great value and not very far away.

Away from the falls, but that's good!

Good service at the hotel. The shuttle bus to the falls stopped at the hotel. The bus drivers were very friendly and helpful. It was good to stay away from all the hoopla at the falls.

Great service at the front desk and from the housekeeping crew. Rooms are clean and not smelly. The downstairs restaurant has good breakfast.

Unbeatable location for the price

Refigerator in the room as the bar does not open until 5 pm

We arrived at the hotel on a friday afternoon and the check-in was both fast and the staff was very friendly. At first they messed up our rooms but changed it immediately without any hesitation or argument. Our hotel room was clean, not a piece of dirt was found... We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We LOVED the indoor courtyard with swimming pool and the access from our room to this area. We brought our grandkids and they loved the pool, the children's play area and the set-up of the room. Lucy, the friendly parrot who greeted us in the lobby, was a highlight too as was the beautiful... more

Clean & comfortable Hotel, staff were friendly & helpful. Serves a good breakfast. Good location, not too far from Niagara Falls, shuttle bus in operation, but we used our own car & then the park & ride at the Falls. There is a swimming pool but doesn't open until 9am so we didn't get the chance to use it. Overall would recommend this hotel.

Definitely recommend it. The staff were great and especially helpful letting the kids eat in the bar and arranging a table for myself and brother (with partners) to go for a night out. Our 3 years old also loved the pool and his swimming came on leaps and bounds whilst we were there. Nice location also to be not right on top of the centre of town.

“This hotel was a huge disappointment. The pool is only 4 ft. deep at the deepest end. We had to deal with people in 4 different rooms partying and keeping us all night from their drinking. “This hotel was horrible! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was clean but that was the only upside to it. The pool was only 4 ft. deep at the deepest end, not very good for the adults in the family. “It was more than we expected for the price. Comfortable beds, clean room and facilities, nice/helpful staff. It was a little further from the falls than we thought but it had free parking. Nice area around the pool, two hot tubs, games for the kids, TV, and nice snack bar area. I would use it again.”

We just love this hotel and don't know why people would pay the prices they charge at the overpriced hotels closer to the Falls. This is our winter getaway hotel. ”

The hotel was great! I was very pleased with the cleanliness and the kids and I really enjoyed the indoor pool. The decor was nice and it's definately a good place for families.

When we checked in even the girl behind the desk said we got a great rate. We have been twice and will return. great for families not so much for romance.

Our original room had a heating issue and we were upgraded to a beautiful suite that we will definitely book again. The hotel and the personnel were some of the best and both my partner and I travel almost weekly.”
