Acceptable accommodation.

Nothing fancy and a little dated but rooms were clean and the staff friendly. Fairly quiet to outside noise but other guests crashing around woke us up.

This hotel is old and outdated.

Most rooms are musty. Our group had two rooms and we all ended up sick with a lung infection or similar. This place would not be good for kids with lung issues. Bring your allergy pills.

I suggest only booking by phone. If you require park and fly they will not call to recommend it even if you send a note stating that you may require it. I booked on line ans once I checked in she advised me that she was aware that we may require parking based on my booking but because I didn't call to book I would have to pay $70 versus $ 40. Hotel is old but clean. Breakfast is decent. Free shuttle bus to and from the airport every 30 minutes. We stayed there before and after our cruise tour, suit the purpose. Good value for the price. We only spent one night before our cruise. It was a pleasant stay for the cost. Staff was friendly but one complaint: when you see 2 women with a cart full of luggage struggling to push it into the hotel, either offer to assist or call for help please!

Dire need of upgrade

Stayed in many Best Westerns. This one caught my attention right away when I went to check in for my reservation. The front desk clerk immediately told me go sit down for five minutes, she was busy! The next thing was the smell and dinginess of the hallways. Old, smelly and outdated.

We love Abercorn

We always stay at Best Western Abercorn when using the airport in Vancouver. All of the staff is superb. We get a good sleep and feel at home. All of the staff is good. They treat you like family. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when using the airport in Vancouver.

This was a nice surprise! Although a little dated very well kept. Very clean comfortable rooms. Bathtubs have an interesting design that make them seem larger and comfortable for bathing - I like baths. Large towels. Free sit down breakfast meat lovers or veggie. Very helpful staff. This hotel worked out perfectly with our Enterprise car rental, and shopping at Costco, right across the street. The hotel staff was very friendly, and explained the history of the Scottish theme of the property. Nice clean rooms, great early morning shuttle service to the airport for our 6:00AM flight.

This hotel is located near the Vancouver Airport. We stayed for four nights while preparing to take a cruise. The hotel offers large, neat, clean and well appointed rooms. The staff and their service are excellent. The hotel restaurant is very good and has exceptional dinner items.

The motel was an older BW, but in good condition. Nice, comfortable room. I think the bathtub had it's own zip code due to its size (which the wife liked.) The people in the restaurant were friendly. The only complaint is the rattling noise coming from the air conditioner.

Well Worn Hotel

Feel the Hotel just needs a wake up call as things have not changed in the few times we have stayed there. Front desk staff informed me that I had no reservation but eventually found it. In Vancouver it might be a good idea for the Hotel to have umbrellas available for the guests.

They have nice rooms, free breakfast, refrigerators in the room, staff is friendly quality coffee in the room also. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean and close to the airport. The hotel is not in the center of vancouver but it has a good location cause its wellconected. It has free shuttle to and from the airport, it is 5 min walk from a bus/skytrain station that conects with all the city and has a convenient store 1 min walk.Recommended if you are using public transport.Included breakfast is good (eggs, fruit, toast, potatoes, coffee).

Cute quaint older hotel, with new remodel inside. The room was clean and nice size, and the King bed was very comfortable! I could hear the freeway, but it wasnt a bother for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good, and I even had Tuna steak one night that was excellent. It's within walking distance to the sky-train and casino or a $5 cab ride :)

This was a nice hotel. Convenient to public transportation and tasty free breakfast. Our only concern was that the promised laundry did not exist. Some shuttle buses from the airport have "Hampton Inn" on their side, and the drivers do not stop long enough to ask for Abercorn Inn visitors, so we waited much longer than we should have to get to the hotel.

We liked having a decent restaurant right in the hotel. We appreciated the shuttle to the airport.

2nd worse best western in my traveling experience, cheap structure, could not sleep the whole night because its location between 2 main roads and very noisy a/c, needed vacuuming, really bad breakfast including undrinkable coffee left without eating

Perfect Location

This comfortable was within walking distance to the train station. During summer weekends, it is also within walking distance to the wonderful night markets. Either two train stops or 20 minute walk and you are in the "new'" Chinatown district. Finally, there is even a Costco if you forgot to get the smoked Coho or Sockeye salmon gift. Would differently stay there again.

The location was good about 15 min walk to the sky trains that take you all over the city. The only issue I had was that they changed the morning buffet that came with my plan to a sit down table service with $8.00 credit towards items on the menu. This service was slow and unorganized and a minor headache with a large group.

This hotel is idea for the airport and seaport with a free shuttle to the first and the sky train just around the corner for the second. The rooms are spacious, the food good, however the evening service may be a little slow. Overall a very pleasant stay.

A visit to a beautiful city.

We were very well pleased. There were five of us in three rooms and everyone was happy. Staff was very helpful in getting us a taxi to the cruise dock. Hot breakfast was excellent.

Would stay again

Nicely maintained older hotel. It was clean and quite comfortable. I booked here to be near the airport. The included hot breakfast was good and plentiful. I even recommended it to some people we met while visiting Bouchart Gardens that wanted to be nearer the airport. Be sure to ask for a room away from the pub if there on a Friday night.

Good Hotel, Cnvenient

Was a great location for getting around the Vancouver area. Very convenient to the airport.

Had 2 cars broken into while at a party. None of the staff offered any help what so ever. Then while cleaning the broken glass outside, the hotel shuttle driver told us that cars get broken into in this parking lot all the time. Yet they have no motion lights or cameras set up to help prevent anything. Please be very careful at this hotel. There are many hotels near by so try those ones first.

Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was a full breakfast. Courtesy van took us to airport. Bed was lumpy. Facility needs some updating. Overall it was what we needed at the time for l night.

The staff was very accommodating and the pub was comfortable. A breakfast menu item that everyone talked about from past visits, corned beef hash, was no longer available, causing some disappointment.

Great attention to detail

My family of 3 used this hotel for the night before our departure from Vancouver. We were impressed with the care the staff took to make sure we were booked on shuttles for an early departure to the airport (we were leaving at different times). They were also very helpful in assiting us in locating a specific restaurant. We would stay again.

This was a good place to stay near the airport for a night or two. The room was clean and comfortable, but the hotel is a bit old and could use an update. This is a good hotel for night between flights. The rooms are good and so is the staff. However, the restaurant was only open from 5 to 9pm and I wasn't informed of the hours, even after I asked when it would open. There isn't much in walking distance.
