We were attending a wedding service nearby.I was very disappointed in the non-flexibility of the registration staff and inability to organize early registration, as I had paid for 3 rooms in advance. We liked the idea of a hot breakfast right at the hotel; but it really was not very good with greasy sausages and powdered eggs. The restaurant lunch was also terrible. It was.cold + greasy.I was... more
The hotel and room itself were great, nice and clean, updated and comfy. Linda ( at the front desk) was beyond fantastic. But our room was 201, the first room next to the doors to the main stairs and it was incredibly noisy every time someone came through the door. Also whenever someone flushed the toilet or used the shower or sink in the surrounding rooms it was super loud for a few minutes.
we have very nice stay, hotel was clean and good location , close to many nice place to eat. We have problam with TV, maintance service (very nice girl) came in 2 min. and fixed our problem. Thank you very much. Front desk personal very nice, we checked -in early and have nice room, thanks again.
The room was nicer than the overall hotel. The free breakfast was unorganized which caused a crowd around the food. The free WI-FI was very weak and disconnected at times. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.
Great location (minutes from Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake), helpful staff (they even gave us vouchers for free tastings at some local wineries), delicious breakfast. The hotel is not new, but nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again!
Prix... more
Bien situé pour... more
Shabby hotel rooms. Really in need of an update, and the price for the room was fair. If you want a nice hotel room, this is not a place for you. It is clean but worn. The restaurant and pool facilities were updated. If you want easy access central location this is a good bet.
Lady at the front desk was extremely helpful in giving directions and making sure we had everything we needed. Lounge in the hotel had good food at a reasonable price. Room was good quality for price.
I stayed overnight and it was excellent. Had small fridge and microwave in room which was very handy. Hotel is next to a shopping mall. Hotel breakfast was basic, but the staff are all super-friendly.
Service was great. Room was cold and took forever to warm up, Temperature control was terrible, mostly cold.
This was a great find on the side of the road. The staff were kind and polite to me, even though I booked the room five minutes before I walked in the door. They had a lot on their plates with three wedding parties and a tour bus at the same time as me & they were still gracious. I would stay here again. Great location near a lot of restaurants and shops. The only complaint was, we were on the... more
Excellent place to stay, located near shopping and close to highway
Lynda at the front desk was awesome! She was warm, welcoming and funny! She made my boyfriend and I laugh! She was also very knowledgable about the area and the best way for us to get to the City and Colour concert (we were from out of town).
This hotel is located in a very convenient area of St. Catharines, near the major highway and quite close to downtown.
It's a clean motel with a great staff. Not the high quality hotel I got used to, but a great value for touring wine country.
I think at one time it was more impressive, now more choices are also availble to the travelers. Search for alternatives
We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation and the hotel. We did find the restaurant facilities (pub) to be sub par. Overall, this hotel is fine for a one or two night stay. The breakfast had variety with good quality.
Hotel was clean, plenty of room, and quiet. They also have buffet breakfast, which wasn't bad. Pancakes were really good. Hotel staff are very nice.
There was hairs on the tiles & tub when we arrived
The room was smaller than we're used to, but that was fine. We weren't planning to spend a lot of time inside the room anyway. Everything was clean and tidy. The rooms on the first floor have sliding patio doors, some of which lead to the courtyard where the swimming pool was and some to the parking lot. Ours was the latter, which convenient since we could move things back and forth between the... more
Every staff interaction was terrific. Happy to help, friendly, appreciative of our business.
The hotel was alright, a bit over priced for the room but the bed was the best experience and is probably why I rated it so high, best sleep ever.
Very convenient location. Hotel is getting old and outdated. Bathroom definitely needs updating and a really good cleaning. Hotel staff was friendly and approachable. We enjoyed the swim in the outdoor pool.
Hotel location close to highway, several restaurants in walking distance. Restaurant is a pub style, excellent food and service.
Dissappointed that I booked 2 months in advance and they did not honour the reservation of a king bed.
I arrived, my Hotels.Com reservation could not be found. Nevertheless, the front desk staff were able to check me in and because of the short delay, upgrated my room at no extra charge. I did not avail myself of the free breakfast service.
Walking into the hotel after having a bad experience at another local establishment, we felt like we were coming home. The front desk staff welcomed us with warm smiles and friendly attitudes, they were extremely helpful. Made us feel like we were getting comforting hugs from mom.
Customer service was great. Beds a little stiff but happy overall. Thought pool was indoors, but turns out it was outside and was raining so couldn't use it
After arriving late from a day's work and drive, we were pleased to find the accommodation inviting and ready to receive two tired travellers. No hassle check-in and a clean room awaited. In the morning we made a fast escape to see family and go on a wine tour. We had not opportunity to try the breakfast. Perhaps next time.
planned on staying two nights, stayed three. Breakfast was ho-hum, same thing all three mornings. Room was clean, front desk staff was very friendly. Had a room with a balcony, nice to sit outside in the evening. Very close to the QEW. Not far from Niagara on the Lake, and Welland Canal and shopping outlets. Would definitly stay there again.
It was a good place to stay traveling from NY to Toronto.
I stay at this hotel usually twice a year on business. Front Desk Staff have always been very friendly, polite and efficient, I enjoy the courtyard setting. Very relaxing. Probably the reason I choose BW. Room, was as always clean . I request a first floor room and have not been disappointed. Wrigley's restaurant very disappointing!! I prefer to dine at hotel when working. I gave them yet... more
I made the reservation through Expedia, and paid ahead, thinking that my room was confirmed. However, I was informed by the general manager, Adrian Nitsopoulos, the hotel can override Expedia reservations if bookings are made directly through the hotel. A room was not available. Then we were told only a room with a king size bed was available. This was not acceptable. Finally, we got a very... more
all is ok, room is clean. except the air conditioner is a little noisy.
Very comfortable stay -friendly staff, clean rooms. Good breakfast.Comfortable beds and pillows. Close to Falls.
Check in was a mess. It took almost 30 min to get checked in because of complete disorganisation at the front desk.
The Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, they needed more help during the breakfast buffet. There was only one girl bringing out the refills on items and she was running back and forth to the kitchen. She was overworked because there should have been another 2 people working there. Also, the pancakes maker kept breaking down so no one could eat any.
The hotel on first sighting from the QEW looked well maintained and inviting, but to enter the facility you drive past the back of the building. The building lacks interest and appears like a 2 story stip motel from the 70's . The gardens and the flowers are all at the main entrance and they are very attractive but the first impression driving in does entice one. The building inside is showing... more
The hotel looked nice & clean. Service & staff were fair friendly & breakfast/bar was good. Convenient for a family stay. Also the location of the hotel was on the same route as my destination (Niagara Falls).
I was there with my parents for a short stay to visit the wineries, farms, and just to enjoy a hotel stayover. It is at a very convenient location, room is clean, breakfast is great - just that the facility is a bit aged. However, I can see that a lot of effort has been put into keeping the aged facility as clean and pleasing as possible.
Started out in Florida on a road trip to Canada. I was not disappointed with my stay in Canada. Wish i had booked more days at this hotel. We visited the quaint little towns surrounding the hotel (Niagara on the Falls). Everything you needed was available on site or nearby. The staff was very helpful with information about the surrounding area. Really enjoyed my stay.
Hotel is surrounded by roads, but restaurants are close. The lay out of this hotel is ridiculous. The halls are very long and it is difficult for find the lobby area. The pools looked nice and breakfast was fine.
This is our go to hotel whenever we are in the Niagra area. The staff is top notch and the rooms are great. We enjoy having a sliding door to the outside as we always travel with our dog. My only complaint would be the breakfast that is included is not that good. Eggs are runny and the sausage are funny tasting. Overall though a great place to stay.
Under-staffed at front desk, one person at check in on a Thursday afternoon about 5pm in July. She had to answer phone and deal with multiple check-ins. She did her job efficiently but could not offer more than minimum service to each guest. The hotel in general and the room was clean enough but nothing fancy. Breakfast was hot but unimaginative, scrambled eggs and bland sausages both mornings... more
