Good location

Close to downtown, only 15 min. on foot. Clean and comfortable room. No restaurant unfortunately, but varieties of seafood restaurants in downtown.

従業員の親切さが半端じゃない！

今回はアトランティックカナダとカナダイーストコーストへの1人旅の途中で宿泊させて頂きました。ホテルは経過年数が経っていて施設こそ新しいとは呼べませんが、ソフト面がとてもしっかりしているホテルだと思いました。特にフロントのユカワさんには多岐にわたり大変お世話になり感謝しています。その他のフロントのスタッフもとても感じが良く、従業員の教育が行き届いたホテルであることは間違いありません。夜少し部屋が寒く感じたのでハウスキーピングに追加の毛布をたのむとすぐに持ってきてくれましたし、簡易のヒーターも持ってきてくれました。日本人の団体ツアーでない、個人で旅行している人には、バイリンガルのユカワさんが色々と力になってくれるので何かと安心かと思います。

清潔ですが、音が気になります。

スタッフは感じよく 部屋も清潔で場所も 便利なところでした。 ただ 部屋にいて 隣室なのか上階なのか 音が非常にうるさく 感じました。 １階の部屋で したが、窓から隣家の ガレージと ゴミ置き場が見え、カーテンが開けられず、ストレスを感じました。

コメントまったく逆の内容が記載されていた。私は5泊6日ここに宿泊したが、毎日違った日本人ツアーが同宿した。ツアー客は朝一斉に食事にかかると、ビュフェ方式のため無くなるものも当然でる。 これを食べるものが十分でなく、すぐ無くなってしまうと評価する人もいる。無くなれば従業員に云うと すぐ補給された。夕食は外で済ませて１０～１１時頃帰ってくると、既に寝ている人が居るにもかかわらず、大声で話す人がいる。日本人ツアーの気をつけるべき点であろう。 場所、設備、料金を考えたら最高に使いやすい。静かに、日本人ツアーに会いたくない人は別のホテルを探すべき。

フレンドリーなスタッフ

立地も目抜き通りから非常に近いところがあり便利。 我が家は1歳の子供がいるので、有料ではあるが、 コインランドリーがあり選択できたのはとても助かった。

どこに行くにも便利です

シャーロットタウンは小さい町なのでどこに行くにも便利でした。二部屋取ったのですが、一部屋はエアコンが効かず、変えてもらった部屋ではムカデがでて大騒ぎになりました。サービスは好意的で問題はありません。朝食はついていましたが、とても簡単な物でした。

Nice beds

We really liked this hotel, though our washroom could have been bigger. Also there were pretty much dust in the room, so this is not for allergic people. But beds were great and size of room. Breakfast was normal, not really any meat or greens.

Hotel in der Innenstadt von Charlottetown

Wir waren für 2 Nächte im Hotel. Trotz der Innenstadtlage war es erstaunlich ruhug. Die anlage idt durch eine straße getrennt. Jedoch sind beide Häuser durch einen hoteleigenen Tunnenl verbunden. Das Frühstücksbuffett war sehr gut und sehr vielfältig. Den Poolbereich haben wir nicht benutzt. Dafür hat die Zeit gefehlt.

Prima hotel, top klantenservice

Het interieur is wat verouderd, maar het wordt prima schoongehouden. Goed verzorgd ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijke mensen die je alles kunt vragen.

Déception

La totalité de la note a dû être payée dès la réservation sans possibilité de remboursement s'il y avait eu annulation. Nous n'avions pas été avisés que la chambre était au sous-sol. Un déshumidificateur très bruyant fonctionnait sans arrêt sauf pour vider le bac d'eau.... La réservation a été faite sur le site hôtels.com Ces faits ne sont pas à la hauteur de la réputation de Best Western.

Disappointing

I stayed for three nights and the room was never properly cleaned. Only the beds were made daily. The bathroom was not cleaned, towels were not replaced/folded. Very disappointing experience.

Located just a few blocks from all shops, cafés and theaters. However this hotel does not look like a normal best western. It is awkward and old. Service is ok, not great and breakfast is missing a bit of variety.

I spent somedays with my family in Prince Edward Island. The main purpose of this trip lie in reminding great memory carved by Anne of Green Gables. So good time and I was fully soaked in Anne again.

Air conditioning did not work but hotel changed our home for second night. Would suggest not taking rooms on 1st floor. Breakfast had good variety but eggs and hash browns not very good.

Friendly staff

Excellent/friendly staff, rooms are nothing special, but comfortable. Everything was clean. Breakfast was ok. The latte machine was a nice touch though, I liked that a lot.

Good location, old hotel.

Service was good, the hotel is aging as other reviews have said. Location is great, a few minutes to walk to university st with lots of shops, pubs (great Irish pub 'teir an cheoil' or something like that) and also just a few minutes walk to the waterfront south of the hotel. Overall I'd say pretty good, they do try hard but I'd probably try a different hotel next time I'm in Charlottetown.

Quality of service

We arrived one hour early to the hotel to see if we could check in to our hotel room. The front desk staff just reiterated that the check in time was not until 3pm rather than making a special effort to get our room prepared out of sequence so that we could leave our bags and continue on with exploring the city. It was just OK. The best thing was their breakfast

They gave us a room that we called a dungeon because it was located in the basement with very little light. They provided us with a crib for our baby but stated that they did not have linen for it... only the mattress cover and blanket. I had to suggest they give us a regular sheet that we could fold and use for the crib.

The hotel was like a dorm room. It had stain on the wall and bathroom. The toilet was stained and looks old. The ac unit did not cool the room so it was very hot We had to open the window to get air. The staff was rude.

Stinky and noisy

My suite had an awful smell. Luckily the bedroom had a decent door that I could shut to drown out the noise of the air conditioner and keep out most of the smell.

Cavandish Music Festival

Breakfast was awesome and we truly enjoyed our stay. It was a distance from Cavandish and there were shuttles but all booked. Our room was clean and we had a pet friendly room as recently acquired a new dog. Had no complaints with our stay and would highly recommend.

The front desk staff was really nice. But the hotel was awful! Our a/c wasn't working, the bathroom door wouldn't close because the it was falling of the hinges, the shower curtain rod was so slumped that it wouldn't hold the curtain up. This place was okay if you're looking for a clean, basic hotel to stay at. They do offer continental breakfast in the morning which was a good feature and a decent gym and pool area. There's nothing attention grabbing about this place, but it serves it's purpose.

Close to downtown with free parking and free breakfast

We as a family of 5 stayed on the weekend. We have kids 10yrs, 9yrs and 6 month. We got the suite with cribb. Lots of space in the room. The ventilation system was not great and the room needed a little renovation. The staff at the concierge was excellent.

Clean & spacious rooms. Helpful and polite staff. Great location to the wharf. Had booked a room with 2 double beds and received a complimentary upgrade to two queen beds. Only downside was pool wasn't heated, and there was no hot tub.

Front entrance is not barrier free. The worst hotel entrance I have I have ever seen.
Hallways much to narrow, staff parks their cleaning equipment in hall and make it difficult to pass especially with clothes cart.

Soggy sleeping

We were put in a room on the bottom floor. The room smelled slightly of damp cigarettes. There was high humidity in the air. The dehumidifier in the room did not help.
Breakfast was awful. Fake eggs,no OJ and the toaster barely made the waffle warm. Our apple was the only good thing.

Stay away from the basement units

Location was fine. Our room was lower level and being rushed, we dropped off our bags to go and explore the downtown. In hindsite, the dehumidifier should have been the tip-off. poor old hotel

Very old motel type, 1960 style, small rooms, wallpaper falling in some areas, a/c very pool to didn't work, garbage in front of hotel overflowing. In older area of downtown not much to walk to or see.

Business trip

I arrive at midnight and the room was not ready for me, dirty towels and sheets were found on the floor, after speaking with the receptionist she fixed the problem right away. Besides that i had not other problem, the staff is courteous and kind and ready to help anytime you need, that alone made up the general condition of the hotel.

good location

the sound insulation is poor. Too noisy when the next door turns the volume of TV a little bit loud.

Best Western Charlottetown

Stayed over the weekend @ this location. Located right in the heart of downtown Charlottetown, this hotel has nice and big rooms with all the basic amenities at a very reasonable price. Complimentary breakfast included too :) They were quite efficient in accommodating a big group of 24 people. Overall a very nice experience

Nice Hotel

The hotel was good, but we had problems on check in, though I had paid in advance, they said it was not paid.I had my confirmation from orbitz, and luckly I had brought my visa bill that showed it was paid, They said they had to check with orbitz, it took a day and a half to get everything sorted out, it was very frustrating to say the least.

Great Location, Average Hotel

Top dollar for an extremely average hotel. If I had pulled off the interstate and just needed a place to sleep before driving off the next morning this would have been perfect. But as a base of operations for a city experience, it was lacking.

Convenient, but overpriced

Arrival was good - greeted promptly, answered questions. Hallways were dirty, Room looked out on neighboring house, garbage cans, bright security lights. Room was less than clean, however, the bathroom had been recently upgraded. Internet access was in the lobby (allowed non-guests to come in and use the service.

The rooom was pretty good, no fridge but still excellent. They always had fresh cookies and fruit at the front desk.

Nice place at reasonable price

The staff was extra courteous. Very clean rooms! If you are going form New York, be prepared to go through a roller coater in terms of treatment (the difference between NY and PEI!).

“The Best Western Charlottetown has all the basic amenities that a traveler needs. Rooms are clean and each include coffee and tea. Staff was friendly. When our coffee maker broke down, the maintenance was very quick in bringing up a replacement to our room. Free internet is available in the lobby. The hotel also has a restaurant, but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try it.”
