Nice place, comfortable. I went there walk-in, got mani & pedi done, very well-service. The owner is polite and nice.
Stopped in for a pedicure, walked out an hour later feeling like a million: mani/pedi/facial/foot massage! The price was excellent and the experience divine!!! Highly recommend - the place is unassuming and the staff are stellar! Will be going back for a neck and shoulder massage asap!!!
Phoned about an hour and a half before the appointment time my friend and I were wanting, and they fit us right in.
I had a pedicure done, and the girl was quite thorough. She did a great job filing my nails, and the polish was neat and tidy.
For a walk in pedicure, I was impressed.
*i am editing this 24 hours later, my pedicure chipped almost immediately(and I made sure to let it dry). Plus...

Best "walk-in" pedicure I have ever received! Clean and polite and let my nails dry properly before rushing me out the door. I will definitely go back again and again
Great ladies, great service.A little pricey but they take their time (may be also because they don't have the fancy machines.. mostly manual). I went in asking for acrylic and they told me they only do gel, so I went for it. Came a bit under $60 for a new set.I was okay with all that, but when I had asked for matte polish over top the lady insisted I buy it rather than opening it and using it... more
Firstly, the girl who did my nails and the girl who sprayed the top coat were very nice! The woman in the Birkenstock shoes, not so much! After asking for a white flower with a clear diamond I ended up with a weird blotchy looking thing on my nails with black and gold splotches everywhere. Not to mention it's not even fully covering my toe nail and the paint isn't a good coat (transparent on... more
I've been going to Rosa for facials for 7 or 8 years now and she is the only person I trust with my super sensitive skin. Excellent facials, very good products used and reasonably priced given the prices in Toronto.
I found a new place in downtown because I am new in downtown. I had a wonderful pedicure by a young lady who did a wonderful job on my feet, her name is Willie. To me $40 is a deal as everywhere price differently. They deserved my stars. Plus the place is neat and the girls are friendly.
The only service I've had done here is lip and eyebrow threading and I highly recommend Beauty Buzz for this service. Thorough and good technique. I have sensitive skin; threading is more tolerable than waxing. The service is pricier than another place I go to in my neighbourhood (but it's probably not out of line with other places in the downtown core, especially places in the PATH). Sometimes... more
Very expensive, very slow and rude owners.
They somehow manage to find upcharges in manicures (such as paying to remove your current polish). However, they're central and never too busy which makes it a default place when you're in a rush and need a mani and you're okay with shelling out $55 for it.
Reluctant to spend $45 on a pedicure when I could get a great one for $25 almost anywhere in the city, I went to Beauty Buzz out of convenience because I live upstairs at the Metropole.
She used a disposable piece of sandpaper-like material that sticks onto a metal device to scrub my feet, leaving them dry and rough after. She did my second foot completely dry and used a cuticle pusher on the...

I really wanted to have a good experience at Beauty Buzz, because it's around the corner from my office and because my favourite mani-pedi place, aptly called "Mani Pedi Spa" at Yonge & Summerhill is....at Yonge & Summerhill.
I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure and was expecting to do both at the same time. Every other place in the world....no....the universe....does it this way....

IThis place is amongst the worst I've tried for pedicures (and I've tried many). Firstly, they scrubbed my almost-dry foot with a harsh metal file (most places now realize that acerbates the problem of hard dry skin, and have stopped doing it). As a result, I came back with my foot feeling rough and the skin torn. I should have been more vigilant and stopped them. Then, they pur oil and cream... more
Bearing in mind that this is the second time ever that I have ever had a pedicure I quite enjoyed the experience. It wasn't as luxurious as the one I had at the Clarins boutique in the Sears Eaton Centre, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
What made my visit to Beauty Buzz wonderful was that I just had a cast removed from having a broken ankle. My ankle was still very stiff, swollen and hard...

Seeing as I leave everything to the last minute I came to Beauty Buzz to do my nails prior to the day I was leaving for Montreal. After all, I would be going to the Opera de Montreal, and I don't know how the usual theatre crowd would've felt about unkempt nails! Probably the way the first class passengers on the Titanic felt when it was revealed that Jack was but a mere third class passenger?

This is a fabulous place to get a manicure! I visited this salon today as a walk-in customer and got a fabulous french manicure immediately. The attention to detail was exceptional and they didn't rush you in and out like some places. The cost is also reasonable.
I go here for eyebrow waxing and highly recommend it! After months of trying to find a good, reasonably priced place in the city I decided to give Beauty Buzz a try since I often walk past it while going to get lunch. I was very impressed by how nice my brows looked - clean and groomed, yet natural. I've been back four times since and find that she takes her time, fully prepping the brows,... more
I work close by so it's very convenient for me to stop by during lunch or after work. I've gotten countless manicures and pedicures here. I get my waxing or threading done here as well. It's pricy but it's worth it!
This was the worst place that I have ever been for acrylic nails! My acrylic nails (which were actually gel) looked so disgusting that as soon as I got back to my hotel room I ripped them off. They were bumpy and uneven, the white french tip was messy and my real nail was visbile from underneath. I paid 50 for the job and she didnt even do ANYTHING to my cuticles. I can't even believe I paid... more
One of THE best places in Toronto to get a manicure and pedicure! Conveniently located in the financial district at Yonge & King, Beauty Buzz has great hours, but more importantly, does amazing work.
I've had manicures, pedicures, reflexology and threading done at BB and it is by far some of the best I've had in the city. The 45 minute reflexology is pretty much like manna from heaven. They...
