Great bar in Old Quebec.
Small but comfortable.
Great and friendly staff.
Drinks are always great (and cheap!)
Been here many times and always had a great time!
Small, totally genuine bar. Reasonable prices. Friendly bartender. Good music. As far as authentic Quebec City pubs go, Bar Ste-Angele is as good as it gets. This is what a bar should be.

I stopped in here (twice in one night!) on a vacation to Quebec. Michel, the bartender, was extremely friendly, informative, and interesting (and plays good music). They have a great selection of nice beers at really good prices.
