I come here for Japanese food every time I'm in Victoria. The menu is incredible and the prices are reasonable. They have 99 cent nigiri specials from Sunday to Thursday. I wouldn't eat Japanese food anywhere else in Victoria

I eat at Azuma on a weekly basis. Service is reliably friendly and attentive. The sushi is simple but of consistently decent quality. The extended bar area is notably a very comfortable seating arrangement. Good value for money and a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Tasty Sushi

Ate here for dinner one night around 9 pm with family members and we enjoyed the fresh sushi and food. They had a .99 salmon and assorted sushi special which we took advantage of.
Nice Restaurant and good food. I had the udon soup and it was good soup.

Really good sushi

We had a great meal at this restaurant. The fish was very fresh and tasty. They have a great menu and nice atmosphere. Good service too. We tried 6 sushi restaurants in Victoria and this was one of our top choices. We would go back for sure.

This was such good sushi!! The salmon avocado roll is our favorite....beautiful salmon and next we really loved the prawn tempura roll. Very good sushi and very reasonably priced. loved it and will take it in whenever we are in the area

Simply great sushi

The food is fantastic. The fish is very fresh and the sushi chefs are masters. The menu is extensive and it all comes very quickly and looks great on the plate. It absolutely tastes as good as it looks. Thoroughly recommended as a central Victoria sushi stop!

My Victoria Favourite

Every single time I visit home I MUST come back to Azuma. The chicken teryaki bento box with a tempura add-on is the BEST. And the sauce on their rice is one of my most favourite foods ever. Love Azuma. Service is always good even when it is busy, beautifully renovated, no long waits and good value for your money.

Inexpensive an incredibly fresh. Large space and can accommodate large parties. Tenth anniversary sushi prices so very very good deal. Fish was perfect. Service was perfect.

Azuma Sushi is a must stop for sushi lovers. We ordered various rolls, and all were very good. The teriyaki beef bowl is amazing if you have anti-raw people in your party.

Great value, love the Bento boxes

Okay, so you have to go before 5 pm, but it's worth it to order the bento box. My favourite: chicken teriyaki, with the tempura add-on. Unbelievably cheap for what you get, with the best rice/steak sauce ever. My teenagers love this, and often go on their own.
Not great atmosphere, and the service is spotty, however great for lunch.

9 times out of 10 this is where we'll go for sushi. Always good & never been disappointed.
