I eat pizza there often. These guys have the best slices in town.
Often go there for slices. A little chinsey on ingredients but crust is nice and never too greasy.
The toasty, yeasty smell of organic pizza crust wafting through the village will make you insane until you find your way past Starbucks and Foot Locker to Avalanche. Hot pies ($17-$35) await (choose thickly layered pepperoni). Caesar salad ($6) is surprisingly crisp, fresh, and dressed with the same killer crust reinvented as buttery croutons.
Skip the $40 entrees all over Whistler Village, skip the half hour waits for a table....go to Avalanche Pizza....absolutely fantastic. End of review.
We decided to get pizza delivered to our hotel one night. The pizza was good, delivered on time and not too pricey. Would recommend if you are looking for a quick meal without going out!
Not wanting to be consumed by crowds of the inner town centre, it was great to see this little place tucked away in a small court yard.
The pizza on the organic dough is absolutely delicious and the staff were extremely nice.
Definitely recommended!
So, the pizza is not earth shattering by any means. It's simple, easy Round Table type pizza. But the hotel delivery is priceless when you have 5 starving downhill mtb boys ready to eat. The "free" soda was a bonus plus quick, friendly delivery.
Every time I visit Whistler I am always tempted to order pizza. I have gotten slices of pizza before but never ordered delivery.
We ordered a large pizza with peperoni, bacon, mushroom and extra cheese. I liked the pizza a lot. It was delivered right to our hotel door and within 45 mins. Ordering pizza isn’t something I typically do...

This pizza was delicious with a nice multigrain crust and lots of topping options. It is located close to all the Creekside area hotels. Would definitely recommend.
This is good, solid pizza. It smelled and looked the best of four pizza places we looked at (which is why we chose it). We tried slices of cheese and vegetable. Both were good. Though there is nothing very special about it, it's a good solid pizza.
As always with 4 of us, the opinions were mixed. Nobody thought it was great pizza. We ordered the deluxe for delivery and it came in about 45 minutes on a Saturday evening. We have had much better pizza in town but were too tired to go out. For $30+tip, we expected hotter and better overall. One felt the dough... more
We were looking around the Village and needed a quick snack. A couple of slices from Avalanche were just the thing. I picked one with sausage mushrooms, and black olives, my companion picked pepperoni just from the oven. The crusts are advertised 100% organic. I don't care about organic, but the crusts are great, not too thick or thin with... more
For a ski area, they have a pretty good pizza. Reasonable prices as well. Delivery to condo was nice and convenient as well.
My husband and I visited Avalanche to get a takeaway pizza because we didn't feel up to going to heading over to Creekside. The pizza was really lacking in flavour and very oily. There are limited toppings to choose from and the pizza bases were thick and heavy. The slices that we didn't eat are still sitting in our hotel... more
We wanted something relatively quick and inexpensive to take back to the hotel as we wanted to watch the Olympics and relax a bit. Remembered walking by this place on a previous trip, decided to give it a go.
Ordered a large, half cheese, half pepperoni pizza. Took about 20 minutes to make which was pretty good. But the pizza...

I used to love grabbing a slice here about 8 years ago. However I've eaten here on my past two visits and probably will not be returning again. The pizza is never fresh anymore and is overpriced. They don't even try to warm it up. There is also even less seating than there used to be. Not sure what happened,... more
Went to the village location and ordered a pizza to go. Thought the price of $28 for a single 3 topping large was a litile steep but I guess it's Whistler. The pizza was boring and the crust wasn't very crisp. Pretty non descript taste. Would probably try another spot.
Family ordered pizza couple weeks ago. Good pizza, good value, quick delivery. Try asking for thin crust. Regular crust was just too thick.
With a local store in Creekside, the Avalanche pizza was awesome. Big on the plate, big on the flavor . Loved it.
Perhaps not our style of pizza, but crust too thick and got our takeaway order wrong. Had to go back and wait for order to be re-cooked.
Not as good as adds in all the brochures say. We got 4 pieces of pizza to go and my husband ended up getting sick after eating the pizza.
Came in for a slice on a Saturday night, place was really busy but service was quick and slice was really fresh.. (Try the beef and blue cheese)
We ordered Avalanche the night we got in to Whistler as we were starving and had heard good things. They were definitely friendly enough but the cold pizza wasn't what we were expecting and after the long wait solidified the fact we will never eat from here again.
We rarely write reviews but need to warn others of our experience. We ordered 2 pizzas for delivery ($48) and after an hour, called to find out where they were. After 90 minutes we called to find out where they were and what could be done to "make it right". Pizza was delivered cold at 93 minutes, no change to... more
Their crust is perfect, not too thin, not too crunchy, just delicious. We had the vegetarian and a meat lovers choices and everyone really raved about it. Fast service too.
The aroma of baking pizza is what first got our attention! Definitely the best pizza in the village. They deliver to all hotels. 16 pizzas to choose from or make your own. Second location at Creekside. Order an Avalanche pizza every time I'm in Whistler.
The most expensive pizza we have paid for in the world and some of the extras we added and paid for olives etc were not on the pizza. Middle size pizza 14 inch $36 take away.
No choice in base it is thick or thick .
The pizza was okay but nothing special. I have to say though that the service was very fast and the pizza was very hot. Reminded me very much of a Domino's pizza.
just had slice of pizza from here, pretty good- I normally dont eat the crust of pizza's but this one I did.
Sometimes it's just nice to lay around in the apt. with a pizza. Avalanche pizza was fresh and hot when delivered and fit the bill.
Worst pizza I've ever had and chicken pieces that were grey and not cooked!!! They give you a money off voucher for your second order...like you would ever go back!!! With other great choices available in whistler...do not use them!!!
We always make a point of having Avalanche Pizza when we are in Whistler. We always order take out and have it in our hotel room. Though a bit pricy for pizza, it is one of the best tasting pizzas you will find in Whistler. On our last visit, we tried the Creekside store as well as the village store.... more
Best Pizza in the village. Excellent value for your dollar. We have one at least once every time we are in Whistler. Carry out and delivery are most of the business. Very limited number of counter seats available. Might be a little hard to find but it is worth the effort. Don't be mislead by other places that claim to... more
Some of the best pizza I have had fresh. Didn't taste as great once it had cooled down as some other pizza, so go get a slice and eat it hot.
Had a craving for pizza on Thursday, wandered around looking for a pizza joint. Since there are two pizza places kitty corner from each other (????), we just looked at the lineup and made our choice from that. Glad we did.
Pizza was excellent. Ham and Pineapple for the boy, Chicken, hot peppers, mushrooms and a ranch dressing sauce for...

Had the "cheeseburger"and the "beef & blue". Totally awesome. Super friendly staff AND free delivery. Stellar place.
the best pizza in Whistler. Like everything else in town, you are forced to pay whatever the market will bear (read: overpriced for the offering) but still a great treat.
They delivered to our creekside hotel. It was tasty and hearty, but not amazing. Price was reasonable for Whistler, but certainly not cheap.
Good pizza, good prices and delivery. We had a few pizzas between a group and we were all well fed and happy :)
We had a plain extra large pizza delivered to our hotel within reasonable time and by a friendly employee. That was the best part. The pizza was very doughy with little sauce. The cheese was dry. Overall it tasted like a bad frozen pizza. We had friends who ordered some with toppings. Same result. Disappointing. For $25 we expected at... more
Very tasty. Good choice. Pizza bases were delicious. We bought a medium pizza which kept two of us going for two days. Discount offer on second visit. Worth going.
Ordered a whole pizza for takeout, because we'd previously heard Avalanche was just flat out amazing. It was pretty tasty, better than your run-of-the-mill pizza joint. However, we did experience a bit of sticker shock when paying. Yes, it's a resort town, and yes we did order more than one topping, but once we tasted it, it was clear it... more
The two topping, 14 inch, Avalanche pizza we ordered was certainly not the best pizza we have ever eaten and compared to others was pretty average. Our pizza was slightly warm on arrival and needed reheating. The herbed organic dough crust was soft not crisp covered with a very sweet tomato sauce and an adequate topping amount. It was delivered... more
Been here a few years ago and was hoping that it would be as good as I remembered and it was. Where else in whistler can u get a substaintal piece of pizza and pop for $4. The other day I got a spicy meat lovers slice and it was great especially since I normally eat vegetarian at home since... more
We ordered pizza delivery. The delivery boy was given the wrong hotel by pizza management and by the time it came to us, we had to reheat. Thank goodness we had an oven. The pizza itself had thick crust and was dry and heavy. We should have gone elsewhere. There are several pizza places in the village.
This place has really, really, delicious pizza. DOn't bother with Dominos or whatever else they have in the village, order pizza form here, they deliver. The best part of this joint is that it is really inexpensive. Food is pretty expensive at the village, this place is the exception.
Well its a guilty pleasure. Tasty and cheesy so stay away if you're on a diet but dive in if you don't care and love your pizza.
Expensive by the slice but was affordable as a whole large pizza. We bought it and carried to hotel but I understand the deliver too.
Better than your average franchise pizza for sure.
We ordered takeaway from here on our first night in whistler! Reviews weren't great but we were tired and desp for a takeaway so this place got our order!
Takeaway was v late as driver couldn't find us! We had seen a car driving around so seemed a genuine excuse and bless him, he was v sorry when he arrived...

We ordered 3 pizzas for delivery to our hotel room. The pizzas were fine, actually pretty nice, if a little pricy, but they took over an hour to arrive. And when they did arrive, the driver gave us someone else's pizza too so someone must have been disappointed!
My husband and I were looking for a romantic restaurant over the holidays - but with wait times being 90 minutes at sit down restaurants, we stumbled across this pizza place tucked in behind the village and decided to go for it. The pizza was delicious and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! We even... more
Good pizza, not great, but at the end of an exhausting first day on the slopes all food is heavenly. Reasonable prices, and they always have very friendly staff (been here three different years).
i ordered a pizzza and chicken fingers( i was told wings arent available) i was asked to wait 45 min for my pizza to be delivered. after one hour we called because it didnt arrive. we were asked to wait 10 mins for our delivery.. ok......so after 1.5 hour called back and they stopped answering our calls.... when calling from... more
We stopped by this tiny joint on our way back to our hotel room for the night. I smells so good and we were hungry. We grabbed a couple slices and drinks and ate in our room. Well I ordered two large cheese pizzas for delivery when we visited Whistler a few days back. (Delivery was free...but I was stunned when my bill for two cheese pizzas was $44.00. Other than the price I have no complaints. Service was quick, we had our order within 35 minutes and it was hot. Delivery guy was friendly. Just the price was out of this world.
Avalanche Pizza offers these services: restaurant, pizza, pizzeria.
