Wonderful hotel to stay in the Vieux-Quebec

Fantastic hotel, fantastic location in the Vieux-Quebec. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served quickly and there are several options to choose (impossible not to have yours), mine was perfect the two days I stayed there. My room was on the third floor, decorated in warm colours and with all you require to be happy (coffee, tea or chocolate, Wifi, big and comfortable bed..).

Thanksgiving Weekend trip

Arrived four hours early and our room was ready for Check-in! Room was very nice, great location and the staff was fantastic. Breakfast was very good and there was no problem making substitutions to the menu. Very pleased!

We stayed in late October for 3 nights. The breakfasts were consistently superb on a varied menu and the one dinner we had was excellent. The location can't be beat if you want to explore Quebec on foot as it's right next to the information centre and Musee de Fort, which are the best places to start. Also on the Ecobus 21 route which for CAD2 gives you a great overview of the downtown area.

The staff were a joy to work with. The room had character but was a little small for me and my daughter. WOW! Everything Was Perfect

A snow storm between Montreal and Quebec and we checked-in so tired way after midnight. We where greated by a nice smile and told that the fireplace was waiting for us in the room. What a room, from our spa we could see the Chateau Frontenac and the bed was so comfortable. This little inn have a cosy atmosphere, beautiful rooms and great service. Full breakfeast included, free Wifi and my window was overlooking the Chateau Frontenac. Their restaurant has also great food.

I could also say 3 days in paradise. The room in the new museum part built as we where told in 1730, beautiful stone walls, nice furniture, really great bathroom and even if we where on the street very silent at night. Friendly staff and nice breakfast in their restaurant. I will surely recommend it to my friends

The Auberge Place d' Armes is a lovely if pricey hotel that is located about as central as you can get in the old city of Quebec. The hotel occupies a two attached buildings, one dating from the 1750's and the other dating from 1840's. The rooms are very charming if my Canadian standards they are very small. Location, Location!!

This was our first trip to Quebec. After checking-out all of the web-sites for Old Quebec City, we knew we wanted to stay in the center of the Walled-City, feeling the centuries-old surroundings first-hand. Our room at Auberge Place D'Armes was very comfortable and well appointed. The main bed was great for a nice slumber and, in European style, the TV was hung from the ceiling on a swivel arrangement to provide more useable space in the walking part of the room. To the right of the bed was a small washbasin and a full bath/shower with a dividing curtain from the remainder of the room.

To the left on this photo, another very small room contained the toilet with a second washbasin and mirror.
