We have stayed here 5 times over the last 8 years. It is a very comfortable hotel with a beautiful view of La Malbaie and the St. Lawrence river. The rooms are clean and they may not have been updated recently but the beds were very comfortable. Slept with the balcony doors open every night. The price included our room,... plus
We did not stay at the Auberge, we only had dinner. Another gourmet meal with great wine and professional wait staff. Nice view as well. If you like great food in a nice atmosphere, this is a great place to dine in La Malbaie.
We stayed at this nice little inn on our trip in July 2011. The accommodations are quite nice. Not luxurious, but nice. The room was a good size. Great bathrooms! The staff are courteous and helpful. Nice location if you are planning day trips around the region.
We were in a party of eight friends for dinner tonight and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the service was very good. The menu has many very unique choices all cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.
After an acceptable dinner, our group were presented with 2 of the 3 bills that showed overcharges. The 15% tips were added automatically on the bills; therefore the 2 taxes were applied.
Not only is the tip imposed but the customers have to pay taxes on it. According to me, a tip is discretionnary for the quality of the service...

I've been there in the early 90's and it was a fabulous place with innovative cuisine. The problem is that it has not changed since then. Everything is now dated.
I've been there recently. The site is still beautiful, but the decor has a 80's feeling, as well as the presentation of the plates. There was no music until we...
