Artemisia is a women's fashion boutique carrying US, european and local designers with a focus on unique, playful items that are both casual and dressy. Most of the things don't fit me and way beyond my budget and means, however, the designs are very inspiring and I always like coming here to browse.

This is a sweet little spot in Gastown, independently owned. The owner is really nice.

Every time I go in here I end up picking up a cute dress. There's something very sweet about Artemisia, they always seem to have a great stock, perfect for the season. Plus the prices here are a lot more affordable than the typical Gastown boutique. Like some other reviewers, I passed by the beautiful window displays at Artemisia for several months, admiring the merchandise but thinking it was beyond my price range. One day, a mannequin featured a necklace that I just adored. So I decided to go in and have a look, and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the merchandise was. I have one word of advice for the owners of Artemisia Clothing. You must be careful how you speak to your customers. The way you sell a couch to someone from the L'Atelier Home is not how you should sell a dress to someone shopping at the Artemisia Clothing. Basically refrain from commenting on the size and shape of your customers like they are furniture.
