On a fabulous Monday like today, with the sun out, is the perfect time to get a milkshake, right ;)

So seeing I had tried their custard before, I went for their frozen custard milkshake but far from frozen, trust me lol---very smooth, silky. Definite winner.

Plus for those who have tons of fillings like me, this is quite easy on the teeth, not too cold lol.

More like a 3.25! Cheesesteak Sammy was pretty good. I had the American with Provolone, onions & mushrooms. Pretty good all things considered. Found the bun was a little stale. Why are these cheesesteaks so good? Everything here is a win, from the cheesesteaks (New York FTW) to the fries to the beers on draught.

A unique spin on traditional cheesesteaks. I had the Cowboy and it was delicious. My son had the Cowboy and remarked he never thought he'd come to Canada and have one of the best cheesesteaks he's ever eaten. Another one of my favourite Vancouver secrets. They have fantastic cheesesteak, even their chicken 'Davie Bird' is delicious.

I had steak with no cheese and all the veggies and extras. My wife the classic. Great taste. Great fries, not abundant but ample. The beer was a nice accompaniment. We split the fries and the beer. Then, we ordered a take away pint of the chocolate custard. Yummy as a snack later that evening.

The only "beef" I have with this shop (and most US based sandwich chains) is the idea that 'american' and 'whiz' are anything close to being authentic cheese.
