Enjoyable late-night, low-carb food

My wife and I arrived late into Montreal after a long, harrowing day of flight delays, so we needed good food late, and Alto came through for us.

Diverse Menu, Simple Food, Friendly Service

I recently dined here with my family while vacationing in Montreal for a few days. We dined at Alto our first night, we asked the concierge at our hotel for kid-friendly recommendations and he suggested Alto. Great Food

The menu had a lot of different choices and the pricing was very reasonable. We ate at the restaurant twice and each time the food was great.The staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend it to other travellers.

Late night delivery

With not many choices at midnight. We ordered from Alto. The lady on the phone who took my order was polite friendly and very helpful. Their chicken wings were very good. Of course we crave fries smothered in gravy and cheese curds in Montreal. After an online search, we tried this place. I can't believe no one has mentioned the lack of cheese curds in the poutine!! Not accessible at all. Not for disabled diners

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the desk clerk who checked us in. We were looking for something hot, cheap and filling. He said that this restaurant would do all of that, and it would be delicious. Their flyer was featured in the lobby of the hotel where we stayed.

Food was decent

There were 3 of us - one had 2 chicken legs (loved them), the other had chicken souvlaki (liked it), I had spaghetti (didn't like it at all). The service was great, the atmosphere is very diner-like. They have a very, very large menu and most of the food looked really good. The prices were also very fair.

Wonderful food at all hours

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Open late till 4am or 5am (depending on day). They also have a easy to use webpage outlining the menu. Perfect for jet lagged backpackers like us!

Wonderful Italian Food directly across from Parc Suites

Nice ambiance and great food at very reasonable price. Friendly staff were very helpful in giving information about the area. Will return on our next trip to Montreal.

Decent late nite option

Stumbled in for some late nite eats while in town for the jazz fest.
Downtown doesn't have many late nite food options (that I've found, at least), but this place is open til 4am on weekends, and serves decent sub/sangwich fare. BLT, ham and cheese sub and fried mozzarella sticks were all serviceable.

Late night greek style

Here's a place that has been around for years. I used to order many times from here when I lived on the other side of town. I always stuck with pizza as I feel the greeks make some of the best pizzas! Speaking of greek I highly recommend their greek pizza with extra garlic on top...killer!

Helpful Waitress Makes The Difference

The waitress, Julia, was smiling and pleasant from the moment we entered to when we left. Food was good, including burgers, pizza, spaghetti and salads chosen from an extensive menu. The service definitely made this restaurant stand out from the numerous other choices in the area.

Last weekend we (family of 5) were in Montreal for 2 nights. felt like local college diner

it was soooo yummy! it is a small dinner with local fare and everything in between. we got poutine. which was delicious. and for main dishes i had lasagna and my husband had a greek plate. both very good. if you are in the area GO HERE. they also do take out.

Excellent food if your looking for a quick meal

I only gave it an average score because it was a simple diner type of food. Food came out quickly, tasty we had the club sandwich. It was nothing spectacular but it was a good meal for a good price. We would eat there again if we needed something basic. Sometimes you need that meal :o)

One word, average

The food it OK; too many men laying around behind the counter/cashier for some reason...
Good thing about it is it is open almost 24 hours, and they also deliver throughout that whole time. Good for munchies.

Most toppings on a pizza I've ever seen

Ordered a meat lovers medium pizza, received a pizza just loaded with bacon, ham, hamburger, pepperoni, etc. It tasted great too. If you love pizza, I recommend it for someone who loves generous toppings. Wish I took a picture, as you wouldn't have believed it if you saw it.

4 of us order food at 3 am from altos since it was the only place open the food was so bad none had more than a bite or spoon full over cost of meal was $90 never again

Fast food joint for a quick bite

I consider Alto to be a quick meal to have place. They are more of a fast food place that offer meals from pizzas, to pasta dishes, to burgers.
