I have stayed in hotels for work for 15 years and this place has made the list of the worst.
I told them when I checked in that I need a very quiet room as I was working until mornings. I told them I dont care what room it is it must be quiet.
It cost me $184 for a grand total of 4 hours sleep over 2 days. It was so loud I went to the job site to nap. That was a month ago and still discusted with their service. The receptionist didnt care about my issue and the cleaners were the ones making the noise even with the quiet pls sign on the door.
Working almost next door for 6 weeks but wont be staying there ever again. Read all the reviews I wish I did.
Check in was quick and efficient. Our room was very quiet.
The rooms are very dirty, smelly and old. Everything is out dated. Way too over priced. Ran out of ice on the first day?? WTH! Saw some big bug crawl across the floor when I first arrived. NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN. Beds were so uncomfortable. Shower was broken and sprayed everywhere. One bar of soap for 4 people? Feet got... more
Recently visited in prime tourist season, and there were a distinct lack of cars there. I paid over $120/night for what I was told was a recently upgraded room. This was not the case. Terrible mattress, holes in the wall and scorch marks on the carpet. Leaking lobby too. Overpriced. Try a B & B instead.
Room was on the motel side, small but neat. Bed spread had burn marks and dead flies on the floor under the table. Staff was very friendly so overall for the price it was fine by us.
I will say one good thing about this place... it was for the most part clean but considering the every time someone in the "motel" area flushed a toilet our whole room basically shook the cleanliness didn't really make up for it...The door to our room kept waking me up as it was not sealed properly so the wind constantly got through the cracks and made the door bang through the night...and who... more
We stayed in the motel section of the Inn. Bathroom had been updated but lacked electrical outlet. If all you need is a place to sleep and absolutely nothing else, this is a good deal.
Looks and feels like a motel, the hotel staff were very friendly
Though the room itself was fine, the hotel lobby ceiling was dripping water, parking lot was a bit of an obstacle course with to many potholes to even count. The internet connection was poor and the television was a bit small (19").
First off, let's acknowledge that the selection of roofed accommodation in Lindsay is limited.
My wife and I stayed at this property during the first week of April, 2014 and found it to be somewhat tired but still more than acceptable.

The door lock was hard to open. The carpet reminded me of a mini-putt course, it was very green. The bathroom looked newly renovated and was quite nice but the rest was dated and old. There were a few cigarette burns through the comforter, even though the room was non-smoking. Overall was a quiet place to sleep, functional, but don't expect glamorous.
Everything was great regarding our stay Amazing sleep excellent bed clean close to amenities. The only downfall was the woman who admitted and discharged us. She was unfriendly and rude. I would stay anytime but she ruined our stay. There is having a bad day but this staff not A people person. It may reflect whether we stay again. What a shame!
Last minute booking here, and the last time we will ever come here!
We made reservations at this place because our first choice was fully booked. Unfortunately for us we got a tired old room and not a so called renovated room. This place is stuck in the 80's and decor seems to be still there. Beds were horrid as...

There was no WiFi and according to a guest who had been a guest the week before this is a common situation. TV reception was very poor. Not a bad hotel for the location and available options. While the rooms are dated the staff are friendly and try to help with what they can. The restaurant onsite is to die for.. Amazing food and reasonable pricing for families. Hotel owner just ordered all new furniture and will be doing most of the hotel a facelift which will add a few stars.. No issues during our stay
My partner and I stayed at the Admiral Inn two weekends ago and this place deserves a review. I was pleasantly surprised. I stay at the Admiral inn at least once a month on business. It is on the western side of Lindsay on the outskirts of town. Easy access with a large parking lot and free parking. It was a convenient spot to stay just outside of town. Was a little surprised we got put in a motel style room out behind the Inn rather then right inside the Admiral Inn it's self. All the same it was a pleasant stay.
Only complaint would be the burn holes in the comforter
I stayed in the motel section. Quiet and convenient. desk personel are very nice and helpful.
We stayed in the motel section. The first room had a strong smell of smoke, altough it was supposed to be non-somking room. We were offered an other room which was fine. The lady at the desk was very nice and understatnding. The stay was what we expected.
It was fine and the people at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. The only issue was that the room smelled of stale smoke.
If you are looking for a tired building with an attached restaurant that can't last more then a year for lack of customers, rooms decorated in the traditional "motel" striped bed covers from the early to mid 80's, Zellers bedside lamps and particle filled pillows then this lil' jem is for you. dirty and smelled so bad of smoke we left our cloths packed and didn't stay our second night.

Room was a non-smoking king, but had strong smoke odour, and was supplied with an ash tray.
Relatively private motel in rear of main bldg. Clean and well maintained.

Not so much what I didn't like but more of a comment. Another couple who went to the same family function paid about $35 (with tax). more than we did for basically the same room. They had booked two months in advance. We only booked about one week before. Good for us but not so...

It is such a shame that such a nice little town, with very nice people and a couple of good restaurants has not one place to stay. This Inn is in rough shape.
