OK Hotel, would stay again

It was a nice hotel in the area where I needed to stay. Room was comfortable and bed was excellent as noted in other reviews.

One night stay for concert

We were attending a concert at the Pacific coliseum on Oct 30th. The location of the hotel was great, not far from the coliseum, close to the freeway and lots of amenities close by..The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating.

Above what we expected

Booked this hotel last minute to attend a concert. Arrived late and were worried about transportation to our concert. Hotel staff quickly arranged their shuttle for both ways. Very friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed! Snapped a pic of the label on the pillow so I could come home and buy them for myself (they're shipping as we speak!) No complaints about this hotel!

My wife and I stayed at the Accent Inn in Burnaby in August, after travelling from Toronto. We paid $150/night for 1 week in a one-queen bed room with kitchenette. The location is good, but we cannot recommended this hotel:

By far the best bang for your buck

I was pleasantly surprised with this Accent Inn. I wasn't expecting much, but was actually blown away.
I thought this property was brand spanking new, but it is actually 18 years old. It has been totally renovated. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Great location for a Hotel

Stayed here with my dons hockey team. Great location to get to arenas in Burnaby and also close to DT Vancouver. The Skytrain is very closeby & a big mall is blocks away. Lots of restaurants closeby too.

Clean and friendly, but worn

This hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly but the hotel is very much in need of updating. Also, it is not convenient to leave your children in the room to visit other rooms because the rooms open up right to the outside instead of inside the hotel.

The room is quite crowded with the two double beds. But it has everything that you need: small fridge, microwave, coffeepot; sink and mirrow outside the washroom. Also free apples and coffee at the reception area and lounge

Very relaxing

I stayed at the Accent as I was having a medical procedure at he hospital nearby. We were greeted by friendly staff. The room was clean and very comfortable. I love the pillows. Concert Lover`s Delight

What friendly and accommodating service in a comfortable setting! The highlight was free parking plus the free shuttle service to and from Pacific Coliseum for the Lady A concert. Lots of great restaurants nearby.

We did not have a reservation and were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk. We got a good rate. I've stayed at this and another Accent inn many times but the deodorizer they are using is soooo strong I can no longer stand it. The motel is three floors in which all rooms have doors that lead directly outdoors. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were quite clean. The motel itself is very close to Granville Hwy and located within walking distance to a SkyTrain terminal which is convenient in for public transit to various parts of Vancouver.

Good problem resolution

I discovered a problem as soon as we came into the room. Both manager and asst mgr came immediately. We were given a new room at once. That was excellent problem resolution. I like all the thoughtful amenities and love the "forgot to pack" items available at the front desk. Also LOVE all the big pillows!

Spent four nights at Accent Inn on business. Nice clean quiet room, very satisfactory bed (we followed suggestions to request room on back side of hotel upstairs). Internet wifi worked great from within room.

A sense of welcome

I recently had a 10 day stay at the Accent Inn. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were all friendly and treated me with a homey style. The adjoining restaurant served quality home foods quickly and made me feel like a friend. No kidding!

The Accent Inn met my needs and expectations at an affordable price. It's nothing fancy but if you are just looking for a decent place to stay I would recommend it. It has a resuarant conviniently located next door.

Accent Inn is great!

Our stay at the Accent Inn was great. The room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and everything was in excellent condition. We had a fridge and microwave and the room was very quiet. As an added plus, we were only a block away from the sky train and there were lots of restaurants in a 2 block radius.

I would stay here again - my room was huge, clean and close to everything in Vancouver--Burnaby. Also lots of parking space for a 4x4.

This is the third time I've stayed at their Burnaby location.

They offer clean, comfortable and affordable rooms. I like the staff. They have been consistently friendly and well-trained.

They are proud of the fact that they are family-owned, and it does seem to make a difference. Highly recommended.

Although there is internet access is available, sorry to see the idea of a non-wireless solution is so 20th century. The exercise roomis basically a closet with a couple pieces of equipment. Not reall worthy of the title ""Exercise Room""

I stayed here for 7 weeks!

I enjoyed my stay here! I had a quiet room at the back end of the hotel, very queit. Outside access doors made for less noise. Beds were very comfortable. Its across the street from a movie studio, could catch a glimpse of stars. Restaurant food was excellent.
