Un restaurant... un terme INAPPROPRI pour cet établissement TOURISTIQUE! Un canard sauce aigre-douce.... on en reparlera... on dirait une sauce VH.. étant moi meme en cuisine... et ce depuis peu... et en voyant la porte de la cuisine toujours ouverte avec des employés qui fument a tour de bras... la propreté ne devrait pas etre la! Merci quand meme pour la DEMI bouteille de vin a pres de 26$..... plus
nous avons demandé l'onglet bleu il est arrivé medium bien, nous l'avons signalé a notre serveuse qui est reparti avec nos plats, mais la nous avons entendus trés et je dis bien trés clairement le cuisinier dire a la serveuse :ils me font CH--R autant dire que nous n'avons pas mangé notre deuxiéme onglet de peur de représailles du cuisinier puisque nous le faisions CH--R. Went last night for dinner had a fillet and a pepper sauce with a house salad rice vegetables and everything was good my wife had baked walleye and said it was good but she objected to the fact the skin was on and she also had rice our garden salad and vegetables we sat outside across the street of the restaurant under a tree the weather was beautiful it was very romanticEnd it couldn't of been... plus
Food was very disappointing. My husband ordered Cornish hen and I ordered short ribs. Cornish hen was very dry and tasteless; my short ribs was lukewarm, and the fats in the middle was still solid. Appetizers were slightly better but not fantastic. The foie gras I ordered was frozen mixture of butter and foie gras, not impressed. Food was so bad that both of us left the restaurant disappointed... plus
I remember coming to this restaurant on a not so cheap a first date some 15 years ago on the recommendation of an old friend living in the neighborhood.
Seeing that they underwent a several month long renovation, I was curious to perhaps splurge and try them again upon re-opening. However, based on what happened on their "grand opening" day I am not sure if I will spend that kind of money...
