Nice stop along the rivers

Just wandering our way through the countryside and happened on A La Rive We were the only English speaking in the restaurant and they greeted us warmly.
Good expansive menu good prices A lot of locals so must be good

Normally i don't give poor ratings. Perhaps they were having a bad day.
Our food took at least an hour and a half to arrive. My steak, which was $16 was ordered medium and arrived beyond well done.
My wife's food was good though. Her lasagne and pizza was quite tasty.
I hate to give a poor rating and suspect...

Good Food, Bad communication
26 août 2011My Husband and kids enjoyed there meal, however i never got to eat mine. I told the waiter i was allergic to meat and mushrooms and asked if the food i ordered would have either, he told me No. My meal ended up coming with both and i am terribly allergic to hamburger which was in the pasta sauce, Thankfully... plus
