Very good value for money
August 11, 2014We booked last minute for the first day of the Calgary Stampede and picked this hotel. I was amazed how big their rooms are because it used to be an apartment building. The renovated rooms surprised us

We booked this hotel through the Calgary Folk Festival site and got a great deal. We were only there for one night and I was a bit concerned with the 2 star rating. However, the hotel (a former apartment building) is being renovated (rooms done, just working on the lobby).
The rooms are amazing - great for a longer stay....

August 11, 2014Spent 2 nights there. The hotel was doing renovations (out of view), so one of the lifts was out of action. The hot water in the kitchenette sink never got hot and we complained to the Manager. It never got attended too while we were there. The smoking area at the front door was a mess with cig. butts scattered... more
