Worth the visit
A while back my husband and I ventured up along the eastern shore of Nova Scotia and stubbled upon The Rare Bird Pub in Guysborough. WOW! Was not expecting such a fantastic pub in such a quaint town. The mirco brew was superb and the food extremely tasty. Can't wait to go back!

Great gem hidden in Guysborough
August 06, 2014Had some of the best fish and chips I have ever ate and blew my mind when the cool himself hand delivered our food and the service wa excellent great waiters who were very helpful highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service an excellent food

September 30, 2013This Pub, which we had been looking forward to visiting, is no longer in business, leaving Guysborough with very little in the way of eating places.

Canada Vacation
September 15, 2013With limited choices in town we were very disappointed to learn that they are closed off season. The coffee shop next door which is affiliated is open for lunch and they have beer to go but not drink on premise.
