Blast from the past!
Loved the elegance and style of Hotel Saskatchewan. Rooms are small (as they were back then, why lessen the room count to upgrade for modern times?) but everything has been recently renovated, and upgraded to Sleep Number beds.
My new favourite place to stay in the Queen City!

My family and I have been staying here for 10+ years when visiting family- in the past two years this once prestigious hotel has gone downhill. I say this for several reasons:
1) The hotel no longer staffs the main entrance with a doorman. So when lugging in bags and suitcases, your left to open two heavy doors and climb...

After giving them a couple years of my business I am moving on. Service still remains good but the quality of what they offer cannot be ignored any longer. maybe the new owners can infuse some life in the place but I will now be spending my time and money at the new Hilton downtown.
