Lavender Dream Shop
August 07, 2014We visited the Prince Edward County Lavender shop and highly recommend making the trip. You won't want to leave the fragrant shop with the sweet scent flowing throughout the shop and from the surrounding fields. Some of the specialty items sold there include lavender shortbread, lavender chocolate and lavender gelato along with oils, soaps, plants and teas. I look forward... more

Not worth it
July 18, 2014It would be nice if the place was free. However, paying $5 entry fee per person for a small garden like this, especially when the lavenders are not even in full bloom is probably not worth it.

beautiful colors, wonderful smells

Visited this lovely farm located in Hillier, Ontario; basically in same region as Picton (wine country), and also Sandbanks Provincial Park which boasts 3 sandy beaches. Makes for a lovely weekend trip because it is just a hop and a skip from another tourist spot, the city of Kingston.
