Went to see the Howie Mendel gala. It was a little confusing as to how to get into the place. We got different instructions from different security people. Anyway, great venue. Fits large crowds very well. Seats were super comfortable. We had mezzanine seat but the view was awesome. Excellent place for large venues.
The Place des Arts in Montreal is quite impressive from the outside in the evening. I imagine that it must be even more impressive inside as well. Yeah, we did not go inside the place to watch any concert or show. We were just taking a leisurely walk one cool evening when we came across this beautiful venue. Will have to watch something here during our next trip to Montreal.
I think previous reviews, pretty much say it all, but I'll reiterate what a great space this is. It may not be the most modern or vibrant, but it's a part of our city now, last a landmark in itself.
