By happy accident, while visiting the village of Amherstburg during our summer vacation, we met the curator of the Park House Museum. Since my husband is an archaeologist and a historian, this chance meeting could not have been more fortuitous. The Park House has been a historical fixture in Amherstburg for generations. It was moved to it's present park like setting from another location in town. Excellent addition to the tourism for this very historic town. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the many items on display are most interesting.
