Something fun to do
This is always a great family event for us. Loading up the car and heading out to the Drive in.
A Drive Into the 50s
It is surprising even to have one drive in theater these days and so this is a fun alternative especially to take the kids to and bore them with stories of one's own "racy" teenage dates at the drive-in. During the summer there is a double bill mostly of films that have just finished their first run but are not out on DVD yet. A good niche.
