I wasn't blown away.....
I think that my standards are high but certainly not unattainable.
Food was good and the chef clearly made an effort.
The service was good but the restaurant just lacked the classy feel that I expected from its reputation.
Sure, go ahead and try it but keep your expectations reasonable.
Cozy lodge to stay and watch marine life out front. We stayed here 2 nights and felt so relaxed and welcome. Our room had a queen bed, fireplace, deck and water view. The food at the Legends dining room was 'so-so'. The ceasar salad and heirloom salad were good ..the two pasta dishes - clam linguini and salmon papadelle were dry and boring. The parpadelle pasta reminded me of bicycle inner tubes.
Not the fishing that is advertised. Fishing is not very good. I fished for two days for a total of 12 hours and caught two fish. The hotel and grounds are nice but I wouldn't recommend this for a fishing holiday.
