A great restaurant
If I could say anything negative about this restaurant, I would. But the food is excellent, the atmosphere is light and happy and the service is good. Five stars!
Can't beat the original!
The Original Opa/Ela location...atmostphere is the best of our all the Ela's in the city. Share dips as an appetizer!
Excellent food and service
We had an excellent meal ,atmosphere was lovely and service was excellent --fast and meal nice and hot and served in a timely manner.

Opa Restaurant
March 10, 2010Opa is one of the best greek places in HRM. WE had mousaka, spanakopita (not sure of my spellings ;0) but they tasted really fresh and yummy. Good place to take your wife or girlfriend for special occassions.

March 10, 2010I tend to order the same thing whenever I eat Greek food: chicken souvlaki. Opa's isn't the best I've tasted in my life, but it's consistently good. If you like cheese, I highly recommend the saganaki for a starter ("flaming cheese" that's flambeed at your table). Part of the appeal of Opa is the Mediterranean decor (complete with olive trees) and Greek music, which creates a laid-back... more
