Excellent service, cute tucked away location
September 21, 2013We ate here for the first time this week. We found the takeout by using the "nearby" search on UrbanSpoon. Very glad we took a chance. The service at the counter was first rate. Hands down....the only place in Nanaimo to order Fish & Chips
August 17, 2013Finding a consistantly good fish & chip restaurant in Nanaimo (or surrounding area) has been a challenge at best. Old City Take Out uses FRESH (not frozen) fish, homemade batter and fresh homemade fries...........and all cooked to perfection. Pricey...but good food
June 11, 2013Nice little place. I heard it was nice so I have tried their fish and chips, burger...it was good as I heard and it was a bit pricey as I heard. Will be back though.
