Overpriced NW dentist
I used to go to Ambiance Dental in downtown Calgary, but thought it was a bit too far of a drive. I realized it was actually quite worth it for the service and care I got at the other clinic. Compared to here, he offered truly painless dentistry and had such personal care that I could really notice. At Northern Hills here I felt like just anther patient that nobody really cared about.
possibly over-priced?
I'm not sure if this is just my experience, of if they are overpriced overall, but I went to this clinic to get information about a retainer for grinding and they quoted me about $200 more than another clinic, where I ended up going. Other than that, the hygienists were nice and caring, and did a good job and were gentle. Dr. Thurmeier didn't seem overly interested in my dental care and I felt like "just another patient" but like I said maybe that was just my experience. It was my first appointment, I don't know him any more than that.

Taking the fear out of visiting the dentist
December 17, 2012The staff, from reception through to the dentists are always friendly, positive, informative, and on the ball. I take my family there knowing we will be advised accurately and that they genuinely care for our well being and comfort.
