Canadian Human Rights Commission should hear about this....
I understand that a child was expelled because she had molluscum (a type of wart that 1 in 10 kids get). It does not cause any fever, etc. but is an inconvenience. So it seems that the "Mothers of Woodbridge" deemed that this child should not attend school; their precious babies might get something "inconvenient". I wonder where this child got this from??? eh moms? How many of you are hiding the warts, so the school doesn't expell your kid. School might be vacant is a couple of months. Whe I heard of this from my neighbour, I thought.....my this is reminiscent of a time long ago in Germany. This a a great case for the Canadian Human Rights Commission. How do I give "no stars"? Moms and Dads, run don't walk away from this school.
Don't waste your kid's time and your money
My son went to this school for 3 months. This school does not do as it is advertised. The worst part was that the kids watched TV everyday, God knows for how long. No discipline. You won't get to see your kid's work till the end of the school year, which I think is too late. And that work is half done by the teacher. Not by the kid.
I often observed a difference of what was actually happening and what they told me. The nap time is from 12 to 2, according to the daily report book and they would write that every day. The day I go a little early, 3 p.m., my son was still sleeping and the book said 12 to 2 even for that day.
I had a horrible experience. My son used to be much more independent before this school. Moved my kid to another school already. Never to look back at North Hill. Its a daycare and not a montessori school, still charging same as a montessori. Even the day care my kids used to go to was much more disciplined and organized. And the care takers were honest.
Great marketing, poor operations
disorganization, turnover, and a general discord in the atmosphere...a general disregard for the education, care and well being of my children and the overall management of the organization
