Newmarket Public Library is located in downtown Newmarket, Ontario, at 438 Park Avenue and is wheelchair accessible. You can enter our parking lot from either Park Avenue or Botsford Street.
I currently use the library mostly for the children's programs they offer. We have participated in various programs that suit different age groups for my kids and overall we are very happy. The programs are reasonably priced and well timed. We love the music and art programs for toddlers and the teacher is just wonderful - with the kids and the parents! By providing free wifi access for all visitors without the need of a library card or guest pass, that is worth an extra 1 star!!
I don't know about outsiders but as a resident of Newmarket and now a member of the library, I can speak lots about it. I have only been a member of the Toronto Public Library before. The first thing that surprised me is that they had game CDs for PS3, Xbox, Wii ...other consoles and you could keep them for one week...beat that Toronto Public Library!
