The Jerk Chicken is Irie!
Wow! I had the jerk chicken/rice & beans from Mr. Jerk this weekend, and it was amazing. It's a tiny store with no seating, but it's well worth it to pop it and get some take out. The Carribean gravy was the icing on the cake. I nearly ate a 1/2 chicken in one sitting!

It doesnt look like much from the outside, or even the inside....However the line-ups at Mr. Jerk speak for themselves. The jerk chicken dinner is amazing...one of the best I've had in the city! The portions are huge and not too pricey either. They also do a mean jerk pork! This place is always busy, however opt for take-out as the restaurant is small and packed with people.

Love Mr. Jerk. Their pumpkin soup is exactly what I need on a cold winter day: pumpkin base, chicken, dumplings, carrots and potato. Followed by jerk chicken, rice and coleslaw with extra gravy. If I'm feeling like a beast, sometimes I get ginger coconut drops or tambran balls. Rel bess. I love their fried plantain too, but only when fresh. Really good jerk chicken! Im pretty much a regular at this point, I always order the quarter chicken dinner or if i make it for their lunch special i grab their jerk chicken lunch special which is the same thing except both cheaper and you get a soda, these prices range from 7.50 (tax included) to a bit over 8.
They also have pretty decent fried corn bread and patties, though their patties are...
