This is the big one. It may not be the largest mall on earth anymore (the Mall of America took that title from it in the early '90s, and surely something in Dubai has surpassed it as well), but for a time, West Edmonton Mall defined the enclosed, indoor shopping experience. I just love malls especially WEM (The west Edmonton mall) it is so big and so amazing. Since there is not much to see in Edmonton I just stayed here.
First there is so much to do like galaxy land. In galaxy land there are rides and arcade games. One memorable moment is that before heading to the airport I came back here and saw this 7 year old win the jackpot on this game which is pretty hard...

Great place to shop just don't go immediately after the school kids get out. Best time to go is early morning ehen the stores first open. Not as busy. The only issue I have with west ed is the vaping right in front of the door. They have certain areas which are smoker friendly. Should be the same for vaping. If you never been to WEM, it is worth a visit. You can spend a whole day here shopping, going to the wave pool, amusement park, bowling, movie, etc. Some sections of the mall is dated, but there are always some interesting stores you find worth checking out.
