Fun to browse
Moog Audio has a great selection of records, CDs, t-shirts and audio equipment. They have many listening stations that you can sample all of their fresh music and play with the synthesizers, keyboards and other instruments. The employees are super helpful and very nice.
Audiohead superstore all in one stop shop
they have Gadgets, boutique pedals and synths, audio recording and production equipment and a great selection of LP's and CD's. The staff is also super helpful

A store geared to musicians, engineers and DJs, Queen West's audio playground boasts a noteworthy selection of DJ and recording equipment, instruments and accessories (though headphones, speakers and t-shirts suit a wider audience); P.S. check moogaudio.com regularly for sweet deals.

This store is pretty great. I'm a modular synth enthusiast and all I have to say is that the staff who know this are are nice to deal with and well informed. Ordering modules is a bit slow at times but the overall service makes up for that. Great return policy for things that don't work out, usually credit but I don't mind. I think it's good that there's a downtown shop bringing in modular... more

What a bunch of jerks. The service staff at MOOG are full of exhausted white millennial narcissists, who don't know the meaning of service in a service industry. The staff are the stereo typical prepy wannabees, who are full of it. Probably born in the 705. Service is job one in retail. Went to this place once. Never again.
I have never come across such slimy and rude staff in a music store in the city. These guys turned their noses up at me the minute I stepped in. I could barely get more than a few sentences out of the guy, he seemed more into playing around with keyboards. Too cool for school I guess. As a guitar player, I have heard on and on about their pedal selection...
