I would never enroll my child at this daycare center

I was a staff member at this day care center less then 1 year ago. The management does not care for the day care as much as they care for the indoor playground. They don't monitor their staff, therefore Staff feel they can do whatever they want and the children do not receive the proper care they deserve. As an ECE I was chocked that this facility was not following the DNA (day nursery act) that is mandatory for every license day care to follow, in order to provide the safest and best quality for each child. Ratios were almost never followed therefor one educator was left alone with 10 toddlers. By law that ratio is suppose to be 1 teacher to 5 toddlers. Management never cared as long as they were receiving their money. I remember when the ministry were doing their yearly observation, management told us to hide and lie about he things we would do on a daily basis as they were scared to get shut down. I spoke to management many times with concerns of how I thought things were being ran as well as abuse that I had seen happening, and when I saw that they did not care or do anything to change the issues I decided that I needed to leave as I was not going to be a part of this horror. I would never recommend this center to any parent or ECE. (may I add they hire staff who dropped out of high school as well) so you can just imagine who is taking care of your child during the day.
