"Truly authentic" upscale Mexican comida, a "fab selection of tequilas" and "top-notch" margaritas displaying "the right mix of tart and comforting" "don't disappoint" at these "go-to" cantinas attended by "fast", "friendly" servers; they may be a "little more" pricey than expected, but most leave "ultimately pleased", swearing they're "worth every peso."

Milagro is a Mexican cantina on Mercer Street that features more contemporary (and pricier) Mexican food than found elsewhere in the city. On the menu are favourites like tortilla soup, chiles rellenos, chicken tacos and fried plantains.

We have just eaten at Milagro, we happened on the place by chance and had a fabulous meal. My husband and I split our orders of fish tacos and beef burritos, it was really good, the best burrito I've had in a restaurant. The place was very busy yet we were seated fairly promptly and the staff was very courteous.... more

We went on a weeknight. The service was courteous and prompt. The food we had was good : tacos, barbacoa and enchiladas. And the drinks were great - aguas frescas. I would definitely go back. I didn't feel we needed to wait for service or the cheque, but I don't like being pushed out of a restaurant after 30-40 minutes... more

Located along Mercer Street in the Queen West neighborhood, Milagro specializes in serving a beautiful platter of Spanish delicacies. Boasting of a laid-back ambiance and friendly staff, the restaurant seems like a great option for casual dining. While here, do give a shot to their dishes like Pulpo Bar Tijuana, Queso Fundid, Tropical De Pescado and Frutas Del Puesto. Delivery and take-away... more

There are times when you crave Mexican Food, but you don't want to stoop to Taco Bell. Milagro is as far a deviation as you can get from the "run for the border" fast food chains. It has a sleek look that more warrants a business lunch than a sombrero. Everything is made fresh, right down to the hot sauce, and the guacamole is out of this world. They stuff their burritos and enchiladas with... more
