For a city that prides itself on sushi, finding a downtown spot that doesn't serve it's wares in a styrofoam box can be a bit of a trick. Miku makes it bones with aburi sushi, where the seafood is lightly seared with a blowtorch. The traditional sushi offerings use the same top-quality fish and are excellent. I love this place! The food is amazing and their salmon oshi sushi is incredible, a must if you go here. The restaurant is bright and full of natural light, and not crowded at all. The staff are happy and friendly and going here is always a pleasant and happy experience.

Came on a weekend evening with reservation and ended up waiting around 10 minutes. The hostess walking us in did not acknowledge us for waiting even though we made a reservation and still had to wait. She walked around the entrance yelling out my name and didn't say anything to us or smile.

first time tried Aburi and I was in love!! from the freshness of fish to the flavor and perfect bite size. It was a great experience overall! there are also exotic Japanese fish that you can check if it is in season if you want to try. Even the waiter and bartender is super since and helpful! great Job Miku! You live up to your reputation
