Authentic Vietnamese is the name of the game at this family-run spot, where locals go for fine barbecued meats, delicate seafood, well-done rice and noodle dishes, fine pho soups, and inspired rice rolls. The vibe is fun and relaxed; it may take a while to get a seat or for dishes to arrive, but it's worth the wait.
I love this place. Terrific if you want comfort food at the end of a long week. Great atmosphere..always warm and friendly. Deep fried spring rolls are best for starting off. Rice noodles with barbecued pork and soups on the side...or try the extra large chicken soup with noodles....been going here for years. You gotta try it.
The service was better than the food but both were very good. Local residents suggest that this is one of the area's better eateries. I am done.The end.
My boyfriend and I go here few times a month. The pho is the best! Not too salty like other restaurant and you can see through your broth. Typical of Vietnamese noodle shops, Mi Mi is small, unassuming and cheap. The ultra-friendly service, fragrant pho noodle soups, spicy chicken curry soup, and barbecue pork dishes make it one of the favourites of the Chinatown on Gerrard Street.
