We've been to Mercer 3 or 4 times and it's an OK place. Service is good and friendly. They need to watch the volume of the music (which is c@!%!y, by the way). seriously, get the chicken. You won't be disappointed. Awesome service, great music. And awesome awesome food. Always fresh and I've never had a bad time here.

I've been to the Mercer Tavern twice; once at peak hours and another time before 5pm. The first time the service was very slow and we waited quite awhile to give our order and then waited for the beers for which seemed a long time.
The food was so-so, beer was good, decor is great, noise level is horrendous!!! If you go there to socialize, you'd better be sitting on top of each other to hear!!... more
