worst haircut experience ever
my friend recommended this place to me. She told me there is a real good Japanese hairdresser. I booked an appointment for Saturday afternoon. It was really busy when i arrived. When I asked for the Japanese hairdresser, the owner told me that all of them are Japanese except for one Korean guy. But I just heard one of the lady hair dressers talking in Korean to the customer. The owner wouldn't give me the Japanese hair dressers even when I said I was willing to wait. But I was forced to get cut by the Korean lady(I was already shampooed). I was so upset that she lied to me.
I was hoping that the Korean lady is good, but she is terrible. She took only 10 minutes to cut my long hair, and 10 minutes just to blow dry my hair. After I went home, I found that my hair are not symmetric. I've never post any review for anything before. This is my first one because I was so mad about it.

My first time going to Maya was two years ago. I was new to Toronto and needed a new stylist. Maya had fantastic reviews and was close to my place of dwelling, so I called to book an appointment. Really like the haircut I got here. Yukiko really took her time cutting my hair even though I was late for my appointment due to traffic. They will give you refreshment upon your arrival, which is really sweet. I got my cut for only $20. With the money I paid and the quality I got, I was really happy! I will visit again.

I needed a haircut and decided to give this place a try because of the good reviews on Yelp. Have to say this place is satisfactory compared to other places that I have been to. The hair salon that I normally go to was full, and I really needed a haircut so I picked this one. This place only accept cash.
